FAKKU 11 Year Anniversary

ALL HAIL FAKKU !

11 years, huh...I've pretty much lost track of how long I've been on this site since I've used it for years before even signing up.

FAKKU has certainly become a part of my life at this point and I doubt it ever truly will disappear, not that I see myself leaving anytime soon. Certainly a site with an awesome community that I'm happy to be a part of.

Thanks for making such an awesome site, Jacob and all the FAKKU staff, and thanks to everyone on this site for making it an awesome place to be.

I certainly hope to be around to see it go another 11 years and more.

Thank you for a memorable 11 years!

I’ve been on Fakku for 7 of its 11 years and the one thing I want to point out is I have never seen the site as porn. I’ve seen it as an ero-manga site. While some may view them as one in the same, there is one key difference. Ero-manga has substance which creates stories that captivates its readers. And you, just like with a regular book, won’t want to put it down.

I remember initally discovering Fakku ages ago, when I came to discover the existence of doujins. Almost left for good when dmca started wiping out all my favorite reads, but subbed when I saw you guys were getting the licencing to publish all the works that were once gone. So glad I can have Napata, Homunculus, and Mojarin on my shelf, uncensored.

I've seen this place evolve a few times, and seen a fair bit of the hard work you've put into the site over the years (including all the times you went to fix things, and broke other things, and the jacob fucking the servers meme came about. Fun times).
But, you've really done well. Got threatened with legal action, and managed to turn that into a business venture. Major props for that at the very least, it's not often that happens.

Fingers crossed you only grow from here, and continue to spread out your reach. I'm hoping you'll become like another form of j-list eventually, with a bunch of figures, magazines and what not in the store.

A lot of good and bad memories here, I think I've matured thanks to a few members breaking me out of my ego bubble. Still, it's sad to see the site in the state its in as a response to the transition. [sarcasm]I never thought there were so many butthurt broke people on the net[/sarcasm]

I lowkey resent the fact that I only have a ten year badge for the eleven year anniversary, Jacob. But it's alright, I love you all the same.

I remember when I first joined, I was so happy to become part of a community of people interested in the same thing as me. It's the first and only forum I've ever cared about. Even though the forum isn't as active as it once was I'm still always around. FAKKU shaped a big part of me during my early weeb years and I have you to thank for that Jacob. Keep doing amazing things. I'll always be here supporting.
