12-Year-Old Boy Faces Life Sentence for Murder

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
Well, that happened pretty damn close to me. So perhaps I'm biased when I say lock that motherfucker up. Accidents are one thing, but hiding the gun, and getting rid of the shell afterwards indicates he knew exactly what was going on. Fuck that kid, hope he enjoys that jail cell.

Judging by the shape of his chin, I could knock him out. I know martial arts.

I remember something like this being posted before and causing someone to become enraged. Just can't remember in what thread.

This is a case of WTF who ever gave this child a shotgun as well as the parent are no less guilty than the child...Correct... first as you said he's a child and with today's world influenced with action movies and such, children are more prone to be trigger happy since they're the more excitable ones. Second, someone who looks like he has an ass for a chin shouldn't be allowed to carry any firearms as he's just gonna crap on everyone's head.
As for the kid being sentenced to a life time imprisonment. I agree with it BUT the father who gave the child the gun in the first place should accompany him. Failure of the son means a bigger failure for a parent who's supposed to guide them. The kid is no longer protected by his innocence and he killed his mother with a reason in mind. If he accidentally killed her because he didn't know the shotgun was actually real, or atleast real enough to kill, then it's forgivable. But in this case, he knew the mother was about to give birth to a threat and he felt that he had to "do something about it"- meaning he's fully aware of what he did. Also would it really matter if he knew the consequence of his actions? What he wanted is his mom dead and BAM he succeeded. Would it matter if he didn't know that the consequence of that is a death sentence or a life time imprisonment? If he said "Sorry I'm an ignorant child who didn't know I'd go to prison if I killed anyone." should he be forgiven? I think not.

I never said I know martial arts LOL (i think)
On topic. The kid's 12 yrs old and I bet that he already know what the other function his dick is for. I say he deserve nothing less of his punishment.

I wonder if he had a chance to use the gun before hand, What if that was his first time using it "OH SHI-- I thought it was a toy".
Even then giving a shotgun to a 12 year old my mum wouldn't even let me own a bb gun

Meh, that's what happens when you let small children play with lethal weapons, big surprise. One would think you maybe should stop playing cowboys and take some real precautions about weapons if you're gonna make such a fuss when someone gets shot, but hey, what do I care...

I don't believe it was his mother that got shot, pretty sure the little bastard's drugged up birthbucket left a long time ago. If you'd look again it introduces the cunt that got her head blown into.pieces as his father's girlfriend. The father was probably some alcoholic piece of shit who beat that chin into an eyesore. Obviously neither of these people should have had children and the boy was doing the world a favor in the end by removing himself, and a dumb, pregnant whore from mankind. The father too, will hopefully go insane and have severe PDS. It just means that there's a few less scumbags in the world to deal with. I applaud this young individuals actions.

Thats just retarded, Just because your jealous does not mean you should go and kill and kill someone, maybe they eventually would have become friends one day.
Kid has whats coming to him.

He hid the shell casing calming and smartly.
This kid knew what he was doing. Leave him alone and he might just shoot someone again when they ignore him. He's definately school shooter material.
I'm thinking heavy therapy might benefit more than hard jail time though. I mean, what do you solve besides producing yet another hardened criminal? Just treat him as clinically insane, and get the little bugger some help.

Spoiler:
I just wanna say, I don't think it's wrong for a parent to enjoy firearms and want to share their hobbies with their children, but this situation is past that. You give a child a firearm to call his own, that leads me to believe it was a situation where he could play around with it, not-fully or even not-at-all supervised, I don't think that's a great idea.
IMO what makes this an absolutely horrible, I'm-ashamed-to-live-in the-same-country-as-these-people idea is the fact that a 12 year old (fairly young as far as minors go) was given an especially devastating weapon. They're outlawed in certain parts of the world, aren't they? Shotguns do not fuck around.
As to the shot at Americans, yeah that's low, but I think it's fair. Lots of Americans live in a sort of idealized bubble where they think/say/do things that are similarly foolish to this situation right here all the time, and they need to be called out on it. Regardless, if you're wise enough to see how giving a 12-year-old a shotgun is bad idea, you shouldn't feel insulted.

12 year olds with shotguns...now you people have a vague idea of what my neighbors are like (though with out the whole...murder thing)...all I have to say is welcome to good old pennsyvania (my home) where 12 year olds are GIVIN shotguns and most people "find ways around" hunting licenses and hunting seasons (at least in my general area)

Bottomline: The father was a total idiot for allowing his underage son to even be near a loaded gun. Both of them are as equally guilty but should tend to heavy therapy separately.

I have to agree that giving a 11 year old boy a shotgun is a bad idea. my mom didn't even let me have Nerf guns. i think that the one with at least half the fault is the father for even giving his 11 year old son a gun in the first place. then he let his son have free access to the gun and its ammo! the boy is at fault for this to though so he should go to juvenile till he is 18 then get a chance at parole for good behavior.
this just goes to show you that it is not just little ghetto kids running around with guns. and that gun control is not just a problem for the city and criminals.
not to be cold hearted or anything but if your stupid enough to think that a 11 year old has the good sense on when an when not to use a gun then maybe you shouldn't be having babys.
