A long normal life or a short one with powers?

One day you were walking around town when I mysterious person bumps into you and offers you a once in a life time contract -- you can have any power you wish but a portion of your life span will be sacrificed for it. If you were to choose would you rather have a long, boring and normal life or a short one with some kick ass powers? if so what kinda powers would you like to have? (regardless of the kind of power you possess you'd still die after some time)

Personally - I'd prefer a one with powers : I'd like to have Jedi forces powers, anybody who thinks of pissing me off will be eating my force lightning!!

A normal life is okay but -- its gonna be pretty much the same thing so yeah...

I'd fuck the contractor over by choosing the power to live as long as I want. With such a power, the duration of my life would be inconceivable, thus rendering his end of the contract irrelevant.

I'd choose having a power, my power would be instent regeneation, I also wouldn't be able to feel pain.

I'd go for the power to give myself any power i want. Contractor is screwed and so is everybody else.

Can we have the power of Immortality? Because if we do, we can never die! And if I do die early, that meant I never had the power in the first place meaning I should still live longer!

Power, I'll choose something fun like phasing through objects or something.

Not that my life sucks or anything but powers make it all more fun. The power i want is have all knowledge of the elements, organisms, and metals in the world and anything else i missed. So that i may form a "Clock Cell" which would keep me young until the timer runs out and then my mortality would end.

Why give up 35% of your life away when you can use that to do some awesome things?

In my point of view, time is the most valuable thing anyone can have. Enjoy every moment you can.

I'd choose the power of a Timelord! That way I can regenerate and change my form every time I'm about to die. Thus cheating the contract. Of course I wouldn't think I'd live forever like some people in here want. Even Timelords die at some point.
