But...Do any of you have read or are reading the Marquis de Sade's work? I was just wondering if it was well-known outside of France. For those who never heard about him, he's a writer, very famous for his pornographic and erotic books (born in 1740, died in 1814). His work is very shocking but beautiful, he of course spend a lot of years in prison, and most of his novels are written while in prison (and for the funny facts, written on toilet paper). So, he wrote 2 or 3 novels that are really famous because the stories are most of the time rape, violence, scat, a sort of guro, and what we call today "loli". The "120 days of Sodome", (I read it and I'm still alive), is a story where four old men basically decide to organize the biggest orgy of their lives. Here is a link Summary. And in that orgy, each one of the masters has the right to bring one type of sex slaves. Including kids, and it's explicit that they are kids (and virgins, boys and girls). I'm not gonna go into the details, but that guy kinda invented loli. So, is he banned in the countries you live in? Did you have the opportunity to study/read his work? What do you think about libertinism? Are you against this form of art, literature?
