Coheed and Cambria - The Afterman: Ascension
I love Coheed and Cambria, but this album really stands out from them. It's not so different from their other works, but it has a mature sound from them. I enjoyed this shorter album from them and can't wait for The Afterman: Descension to be released.
Devin Townsend Project - Ghost
This album is one of my favorites from Devin Townsend. It's so mild and soothing compared to his other albums, including the recently released Epicloud. It will always be a perfect album to me because not only are the songs mixed together, they each stand out in their own way.
Devin Townsend Project - Epicloud
This is just a fantastic album. Again, like Ghost, he mixed the songs together so it's bleeds into one another without break. He also manages to mix in several different genres into one bizarre sound that carries throughout the album.

Time to dig up my collection and have a look.
There's still a lot of music i need to download and listen to, so this list will probably expand soon.

Agalloch - Marrow of the Spirit
This album is arguably their best, although all of their albums have so much effort and care put into them it's hard to choose a favorite from them. I love it as much as I love their album, Ashes Against the Grain. Both albums helped me get into folk metal even more, for which I am thankful. Also, both albums are awesome to listen to while playing Skyrim (so I've noticed).
Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain
This album, like Marrow of the Spirit, is perfect. They have the vocals just right to create this spirit-like voice seemingly feed its thoughts into you as the music just carries you away. These two albums, to me, are their best works so far. I only hope they continue to make music this good for us.
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Is there really any reason I should explain this choice? It's a masterpiece in the history of Rock. Without it, Rock wouldn't be great. It is also the band's commercial and critical height of their career. It is arguably the greatest album in the history of Rock.
