Hold me please. This is AnoHana level of sadness. I'm honestly getting teary eyes. This is so unlike me.

First album to ever make me feel anything sympathy.

This album is amazing in terms of music too. But the lyrics are out of this world. Listen to this now and read the lyrics (some of the lines are harder to make up).

Well, another album that I find strikingly, depressingly, and beautifully poetic is Of The Wand & The Moon's album The Lone Descent. Every song is packed full of emotion and craftsmanship that, in my opinion, is really hard to find in music nowadays.

Some of the songs from the album:

A Pyre of Black Sunflowers
Spoiler:

A Tomb of Seasoned Dye
Spoiler:

Is It Out of Our Hands?

Again, this album is a must-listen. I can't stress that enough.

Even with a different vocalist they were great. It was refreshing with new heavier hitting tracks too!

I dont know how up to date you guys are on the underground hiphop scene, but Joey Bada$$'s 1999 mixtape was wall to wall with bangers

I know this post was from months ago, but I totally agree with this. Listen to that OST all the time.

The Human Equation by Ayreon is a masterpiece of progressive rock/metal from start to finish. I love concept albums, and its by far my favorite one. It's about a man whose fallen into a coma. His emotions speak to him about his life and issues, and the reason he fell into coma in the first place, each of his emotions is represented by a different singer.
Spoiler:

The Horror Show by Iced Earth is another one that I've always love every song on. Each song is about a different horror/fantasy character.
