Let drinking happen at 18 ... it's the age of adult and it probably be better since it calms the citizens, but only on strong alcoholic drinks.
What?
Edit: Do you really think a substance, which is a factor in riots, fights, abuse, rape, deaths/accident calms the citizens? Alcohol is one of the most abused substances in the world.
Correction: I meant to write that people above age 18 have the rights to drink a more heavier substance than beer.
Regarding the issue about violence and such .. not my problem ... everybody should be responsible for the limits of their drinking.

It's not about if it's your problem or not. Alcohol may affect everyone differently, but it still can influence anyone, which again is a factor in riots, fights, abuse, rape, and deaths/accident. So again, do you really think it calms the citizens?

What I meant by calming citizens is that let young people drink with the knowledge that they must be responsible for themselves and also be aware of the consequences of their reckless decisions, when they know this than there would be less negative actions.
Yet again I am writing, it is based on their responsibility as drinkers and how they react under such influence ... the rest is up to them.
I drink alcohol, and it makes me chill out more and lets me laugh ... however I do agree that not everyone reacts to alcohol the same way I do.
