THE HELL. THERE'S NO TEA THREAD!? Well here's to tea~!
I'm not much of a connoisseur but I do like to drink it every now and then.
One tea that I got instantly addicted to was jasmine tea.
The fragrance that came from this tea hooked me instantly. It was like drinking a delicate perfumed flower~:L
Green tea was my first kind of tea I looked for because IM A WEEB OK! Its alright...if you're into bitter stuff...
Since then I've tryed different types lemon(gulp), red tea's, black tea (kinda my fave) chai, oolong 2nd fave (If it's the RIGHT kind of oolong it has a wonderful nutty flavor. If it tastes like vomit STEP ON IT. YOU GOT JIPPED.) And some earl grey's.
What kind do you enjoy drinking? ^_^ And if you want make suggestions so everybody can see some yummy tea's they could try out!

When I was little my grandpa could tell the brand of a tea just my smelling it and/or just taking a small sip. Now, age has gotten the best of him; he wan't to sign me up to some tea clases but I don't think I'll have the time, lol

I like roasted mate tea, it is common here in Brazil, and admittely isn't the fanciest tea ever, plus I don't enjoy a cup of warm/hot tea, I like my tea extra strong, cold and sweet, as a refreshing drink, sometimes with some drops of lime juice for extra flavor. No milk or cream though.

My roommate buys Russian Black Tea from a Russian spa we have in our town, Its the best tea I have ever had.

I have my best tea in Hong Kong, where they serve real cream rather than that un-manly skim milk in England now. However don't mix up HK milk tea and tea with milk there. While I still enjoy the rich HK milk tea, its nothing compared to a classic English tea with cream. I drink green tea most of the time because I buy it in bulk from the local supermarkets since I don't like drinking water all the time.

I love English Breakfast black tea. Add a little milk and a small amount of sugar and I'm in tea heaven

They use very strong tea and add evaporated milk to it, in the summer you can have it iced and it is the most heavenly combination of tea, creamy milk and syrup... *o*
Here you can get bottled tea in the convenient stores which are chilled, my favourite is "high mountain" oolong and "concentrated" green tea
Back in Uni I like to start the day with a cup of lemon and ginger tea (to start digestion) and green tea or genmaicha/roasted barley tea throughout the day, at night after dinner I have a cup of peppermint tea :)
Other teas I also enjoy are Roobois (Red Bush) which I sometimes use in place of regular red tea. I make it really strong and add milk to it. Other red teas I like are Darjeeling and Assam.
I also love chai with frothy milk you can get in cafes and coffee shops.
Man I really love tea..
But I hate Earl Grey.

Being English, it might seem stereotypical that I like tea. But lets face it, most stereotypes are pretty spot on. XD
Lapsang souchong is one of my all time favourite teas. It's Chinese, the first black tea in history and often referred to as smoked tea. Admittedly I found most of that out on Wikipedia just now...
Other favorites include: Earl Grey, Red Bush and Camomile tea!

I grew up drinking Lipton tea. Delicious, but I've never had any others. I should probably get some next time I'm at a store.

Also if your use to bags try getting it in another form.

Do you make your teas without bags? Which way gives the better taste?

I'd have to say one of my favorite teas is Bancha Hojicha. Basically roasted green tea. But an entirely different flavor from that of regular green tea.
Nice and mellow, but not boring.
A terrible explanation I'm sure, but it's worth a try.

I always make my tea with bags because it saves so much mess and hassle! However, I think with things like chai and strong hong kong tea, you need to boil the water with the tea leaves in as it will allow the tea flavour to better infuse with the water. I just made that up but it sounds logical..

Some I use bags, but I have done it without. I believe the op has a link that explains how it should be done. Pretty much I would describe it as more flavorful and refreshing.
