Alternate Realities

Hm...quite an interesting thread amongst the grey of SD.If given the opportunity I guess I would see what they are like as for one, it's not like it's going to actually affect me, two, I pretty much know what would have happened if I hadn't persued my dreams.Unlike most I conceded at an early age that the whole point of my life was to sacrifice it to others in the name of God and as with that I left myself the option of becoming a doctor or joining the military and along the way any power positions I could gain.Whilst I'm sure I would have been able to bring to bear the new conflicts arising in the middle east during the time I would have graduated and theoretically join the military,I bet it would be interesting to see myself in a parallel universe, God forbid I didn't die on duty.

If I could go visit these alternate realities I would definitely do.
And when I do I'll probabaly ask myself this Why?

I haven't really delved in the idea of Alternate Realities, like a world where Humans can crossbreed with Animals.
Or a world humans with Lion ears and Tail, Cat Ears and Tail etc(A reference to Dog Days)
A world where the process of living is weird etc like how they live underwater and only surface earth at night. I don't really know.

The possibilities is very vast like the universe.

And yes I would very much like an alternate reality with Dog Ears and stuff.

But say for a second that I do, if we go with the Schrodinger's cat theory, then can you believe how different alternate realities would be compared to our own?

What about an alternate reality where Resident Evil or Silent Hill is NOT a game but a reality?

I want to believe that for every decision, there is an alternat reality in which you took the other decision you did not take before. So lets say you have to decide to walk to school one way or another. In the alternate reality, you took the other one and BAM you get hit by a bus. So for every person there would be googolplex amount of alternate realities.

As far as I know the idea of alternate realities is, that because the universe created itself from nothing, another universe could be born in a similar way. An this would happen infinitely many times. And because there is a veeery small chance that in an universe there could be an earth exactly like ours, but with small differences, trough the infinite number of the universes, this place also must exist.

This however is only theoretical, as there is no reason to assume that this scenario would be true...because even if we assume that universes can be created out of nothing, it does not mean that so far an infinite amount has been created.

...Just my thoughts.

EDIT; And that weird other version where every decision creates another universe..I never understood that. Why should it? Besides, decisions are hardly ever black and white..so does it mean that if a decision you took could have been decided in a slightly different manner, that would somehow create an alternate reality? ..I just don't get that.
