Didn't Gambler make a thread about the exact same thing last year? I'm pretty sure so.This thread does seem eerily familiar to Gambler's too much to be a coincidence so i looked it up and found it dated august 19 2009 http://fakku.wikia.com/index.php?title=Random&oldid=3948 no idea why i searched for it.
But to continue on i would probably not say anything if it was lucky star any other anime and i might strike up a conversation.

I actually did at work a couple of days ago at Walmart. There was a Sales Associate from Electronics who was playing something on his DS. I had assumed I was the only nerd or geek there who brought his DS/PSP to work. I asked him what he was playing and he told me Dragon Quest IX and we spent our break talking about RPGs and Nintendo in general.
Too bad we work different shifts so it is rare that I have a chance to talk to him.

Will you attempt to strike up a conversation with a stranger whom you believe has similar interests as that of yourself?(It was raining.)
Some little bitch kept trying to spin me out while I was go-karting, racing my dad. We are highly competitive when it comes to racing, and he spun me out on the final turn during the first race. On the second race, some kid kept trying to spin me out, so I couldn't catch up to him most of the race. Considering he had pole position and I started third to last (with 12) and passed everyone but him in the first lap, I think I did pretty good. Cheating bitches in the rain.
Back to the question: afterwards, that little bitch kid came up to me with his friends, called me awesome to my face, and then I beat the shit out of them. I don't give a fuck. We joked as we left the karts, and then the place closed. I then went to see Inception with my bro. Where another individual made conversation with me. It's not hard, and if you're wrong, who the fuck cares? Just back away slowly, and don't make any more eye contact. Then book it.
Hahah that's great! Kudos to you for beating the shit out of them.
As for the question, I've once tried to talk this cute guy to took my lunch order but it didn't get very far. But as for guys approaching me, I think it's always about time and place. One time I was on the shuttle to my university, this large guy squeezes himself next to me and starts prattling about how his ac is broken, living with his parents, blah blah and before you know it he's saying "you need a nice strong man to protect you from weirdos" and asks for my number. I'm thinking, 'yes, I do need someone to protect me...from you!' I think it's important for the guy to gauge the girl's reaction =\ Like if I'm not smiling at you, or giving very short answers it means I'm not interested. But if I'm smiling and laughing, then go for it.

I work in a shop so I talk to people who have similar interests to me all the time (I work in a video games store) and I carry that with me into other situations too. I've always been easy to talk to and have no trouble talking to new people. Its when you put me in a group that I get nervous and shy.

Ill talk to just about anyone about anything. Im just like that.(exceptions apply). When people see me, they 'fear' me, for a lack of a better term. But as I move the conversation, they begin to speak more slowly, clearly with me and laugh.

Why not? I used to not like initiating conversations (or anything really, as I still sort of do now) but it's fun when you meet someone with similar interests.

Nope, I tend to stay quiet and not say anything to anyone, unless be it a friend and even that I seldom do. Especially in public places, like restrooms, buses and libraries.
Though other people have come up to me instead... weird really.

I am not quite sure why ILoveTsundere! plagiarized my thread, as stated by some of the users, as seen here: https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=22236.
I would like to hear his/her reasons before merging the threads together or locking one of them.

merge merge merge, no explanations, just do it. I like talking to strangers. Especially when skateboarding, a lot of people are just like, "wow, that's cool, I bet there are a lot of spots, you guys are awesome, peace". It's great.

It's great. You might not know me very well, but I seldom do things without a reason. It would be unfair to lock or merge this thread without asking ILoveTsundere why s/he duplicated my thread.
Lesson Learned: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. :eng101:
