anime-live action.

Depending on the anime it's either a good thing or a bad thing. Some should never be adapted into a live action movie imo, like DBZ, Bleach, or Naruto like that. Others like NGE or maybe Gundam I could see being at least decent but things like DBZ that have shit so far out there for a human body to be doing(even if not a human technically) I just don't think that it should be made into a live action movie.
Just seems like it would be terrible, but for more realistic or as realistic as giant robots are I believe it's doable as long as there's someone with creative control that can stop it from being butchered.

im throwing in some info about a live action EVA movie. this goes back about 8 years ago and talks between studio weta (the one that did the graphics for the Lord of the Rings trillogy) and ADV Films were disscussing about a live action EVA movie, only one problem they only no director! the only news about a Eva movie is that it is in 'development hell'.
now today ADV Films has lost the glory it once had and is on the verge of collaps but is barely hanging on by the skins of their teeth. A live action Eva movie has been on the back-burner for already 8 years and still no new info as far as a director, cast, and for that matter a script. i had very high hopes for this one but im not holding my brerath any more, i'm just happy about the 4 part animated movies 2 that are complete and the remaing 2 that are in production.

A long time ago I watched the live action of Your Under Arrest, I was pretty impressed with it. The acting was pretty true to the anime. At the moment I'm watching the live action of moyashimon: tales of agriculture. Only 1 ep out the moment. Can't comment too much yet, but it seems pretty good to me. The CG of the microorganisms and all blend in quite nicely.

Some Animes are easy to make live action
Some arent
The main problem is to me that they build up too much hype then cant pull it off.
But I can hope they can make some great ones!

that does not telling me much only that it is still possible to get a live eva movie back on its feet. still no script, director or anything that will point that this movie will happen
