I was thinking about how things have changed over the past few months. We've seen the end of an era with one of the 3 admins taking his leave and being replaced by our favorite overly nice Brit; Mattarat(fuck you Teclo<3. Teclo edit: I'm your favourite abusive mod Brit). There was total site shut down for a few days. We've watched other staff members leave and replacements come (Tegumi, and myself[yay!]). The site has gone from translating our own releases and videos by the fakku scan/sub teams to a site where many teams congregate to release their collective works. We have seen the rise and fall of trolls and we have watched white knights come and go. We have also witnessed the end of the golden age of trolling for the most part. In my honest opinion all these changes have done nothing but improve the site and forums overall despite some large losses(I would love it if Nikon and the teams were still around).

These thoughts led me to the following question: What else can we do for you fakku? I don't want to see someone complain about the image section, I want your original ideas. I want to hear if you want more of a certain type of hentai, I want to hear where you think the forums lack substance, or if they need something new. Do you believe the staff is performing their jobs to a high standard(no names please). Do you think we need more contests, or a larger presence at conventions(i.e. a panel). Tell me your desires(realistic please, I don't think we can pay you to read hentai). Jacob will surely read this thread when the time comes, ill force it down his throat if necessary.

edit: wanted to add that this thread is going to have my opinions but should not be taken as law or the opinions of the other staff. I will answer what I can if I do have information but I am not going to argue with anyone.

More full manga releases perhaps. http://pant.su does a good job of this, but there are many full releases that they do not have.

I do like the suggestion, I wonder how plausible it is and what has stopped us from doing so in the past.

Maybe a better sorted images section. The link that's over there now just leads to the nosebleed forum. Although I like it, something like how the manga section is made could be done for that as well, sorting it on character and genre.

I got it! why doesen't FAKKU become its own Hentai Distributor and/or Release original Hentai OVAs that would be sweet!!!

A mod for the manga, doujinshi and video discussion section. People CONSTANTLY think it's the request section.

the image section is one of the major forum changes that Jacob has planned for, it's been in the books for a while but it's going to take some time. From what I can tell it puts a lot of stress on the servers but it is something that will be fixed at some point in the future(i hope).



Interesting idea, it would be something the fakku artists would need to consider, as for now the only thing I can really suggest is that they put together another calender and perhaps sanshee can sell them this time, I would gladly pay for a hentai callender (as wall scrolls and posters would be harder to hide).



There are a number of general mods that take care of those sections, they do their best to move threads to the appropriate section but it's not a required job, a request being in the wrong section only hurts the person who made the request as it will diminish the odds of his request being fulfilled. I'm sure Jake will see this request but I don't think the odds of more section staff is very high right now. We thank you for your attention to detail on informing us when things are out of place though.

An update on the licensed videos. Some threads get deleted because a company sends an angry letter to Jacob (I assume) and the thread(s) get deleted without my knowing.

Then suddenly a few months later when someone makes a request for "said hentai movies" that's when I notice. For example, Taboo charming mother. Blackhole_Z's thread got deleted even though that video isn't currently on the licensed videos list.

that may have been for a different reason but I will inquire as to how up to date the list is as soon as I can reach Jake.

I asked Blackhole_Z and he told me himself that's what happened. The same happened to the "Milk junkie" thread and Persondude's "BOIN lecture" thread.

So I asked Jacob and he said "Only the videos that are on the list get taken down"...but those aren't on the list..

I can't report it because it's not on the list, but technically it shouldn't be uploaded.

As far as I know if things are being removed from the forums and they aren't on the list then Jacob is the only one removing them. Is it really an issue? I can get the updated list when I speak with him but he receives messages all the time to remove things, I don't think its plausible to remove everything while keeping a list; I believe jake simply removes things as he is asked to when he is asked.. Plus for a few hours/days people can get those projects which have been licensed. I think it's better that we see a lag time but this is just my opinion as a regular user. I will talk to jake as soon as I can, no point in pursuing the matter.

I'm not sure what to say. I'm very happy with the forums and the site as a whole right now. I guess Jacob could try to make this site more than just porn and the forums, but I'm not sure how he would go about doing that.

A big project would be nice, but I don't know what could be done that most users could help with. There's already a sub and doujin group, and it's not like a lot of users could help out with that. (Even if they could, the groups don't need hundreds of people helping out.) An art contest or calendar would leave out all those who can't draw, and that's quite a lot of people. What else is there? I really don't know.

The site could try to make its own doujin, utilizing some artists and getting ideas for the story from the userbase, but that'd be a lot of work, and for what? There are already a ton of doujins out there. The only plus would be that the doujin could possibly be sold; people could hold in their hands a doujin made by Fakku. But would that be worth all the trouble?

I don't know. I just like the idea of something to do here that isn't jerk off or post on the forum.

i haven't seen much west coast coverage. i don't know much about conventions as i am basicly a shut in, so maybe there aren't many.

Post requirement for the upload-section.

thats a good one, however what about a new user that has a good upload? mabye they can pm you or something? its my understanding your the GOD of the upload section, you have gotten a few reps from me anyway.

and on a similar note i know there's probably to many visual novels to all put in the games section but some of the better ones like ever 17 or fate stay night would be a service to the site to have them in the games menu.

Not a terrible idea but what would the new users who feel they can contribute do if they have an upload?(good point trekkie859) Even if 98% of those uploads normally get deleted due to breaking some rule or being licensed material that 2% should still be permitted to post. Either way, jake will probably take a look at the suggestion and decide for himself but if you provided that solution it might have a better chance of happening.

I think there should be a list indicating the licensed animes.

There's one for the hentai videos, there should be one for the normal animes too. So people know which specific series not to upload.

Fix the post formatting. It drives me maaaaaaaaaad how formatting the text resets the view and how adding links is harder than it should be. It might also be a good idea to take away the +rep limit of 15 posts (+rep, not -rep if possible), just for the Request section. Most requests seem to be made by new users so it kind of sucks how people fulfilling requests can't get +repped for helping out.
