Sort all the chat and game threads in IB into a subsection.
Because for the love of God i get sick of them.

Good job guys, I loving all this feedback.
Let's see what I can tell you about:
Lol12 for mod: you know if i had that kind of power buddy...
Audio: as the site grows so does the amount of less "helpful" users, but we always keep around the same ratio. Just wait for mote mote; our job will be 15 times harder. I hope Jake takes the calender idea and runs with it; only time shall tell. I'm going to visit you on sanshee more often, perhaps users who enjoy my company could do the same (read: do it faggots).
bfg10k17: There is a problem with loli, although the material is not illegal per se is does exist in a legal gray area which might lead to problems in the future. The sub groups are doing what they can to release all the genres we might not fully cover here on Fakku. One group in particular might have what you're looking for: Little White Butterflies does a mix of different fetishes and I know they don't mind doing a bit of loli(haha they do lolis) just be sure to check on what you're about to read(some of the things they post are a bit shocking). As for the torrents we don't have much control over those, they are uploaded by users for other users. Klown could speak about the matter in greater length if you private message him with your questions.
earlshaggwell: I like your idea, I think there are some thing the users could provide to help out to community itself. Perhaps if a user noticed a doujin by an artist he or she recognizes they can post a comment. Good comment.
Chance Vance: The last I heard about a tag system for manga is already being created; it may be a while before it's implemented due to the lack of time our staff have but if I know Jacob is sitting somewhere on his to-do list. Also your opinion is as important as mine; we all love this place and are important parts of the monster that is Fakku.
Kaimax: Good idea, worth mentioning. Ill point this one out if I can.
GameON: Part of me likes the idea due to the clutter we have in IB sometimes but another part of me makes me believe this might be a poor idea. IB works well as it is now; nothing too serious, but if we removed the game and chat threads IB would lose 90% of it's activity. I like some aspects of the idea but I would feel stronger about it if it was able to tackle my concerns for the activity in IB.
Thanks guys, please keep these amazing ideas coming. Also feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer/search/forcibly make Jacob respond(in my dreams).

you're probably right but I don't see it happening. I will present the idea nevertheless.

MOTEMOTE would be cool. It added brought a lot of lurkers out of hiding last time and a lot became full fledged members contributing to the forums. And for the most part more contribution is a good thing/goal of the forums

I just had two separate ideas merge to form something (I think is) awesome:
Jacob's been talking about putting on a panel at anime conventions + Some friends and I were talking about how I know a lot about hentai, and the hentai stuff at our local convention sucks ass (hentai viewing room on Saturday night was scheduled but for some reason replaced with YouTube hour :/ ), and how I should do a panel on hentai in the future = Fakku members doing their own Fakku-sponsored panels at their local conventions.
It's insane to expect Jacob to get to every anime convention in the country, and even more insane to expect him to visit any overseas, so why not allow fans of Fakku to create their own panels, where hentai can be discussed openly without snickering or throwing around the word "pervert"? Granted, this isn't the sort of thing that could happen next week, since Jacob hasn't even done his first panel, but it's something that could be worked on.
People could ask Jacob to support the panel at their local con, and Jacob could post about it on the front page for anybody that goes to the convention. Also, there could be a kit that users could download to help with the panel, with printable pictures or info or whatever. This would also help Fakku to be even more well-known, as the panel would be a form of advertisement for the site.

I was about to make this exact suggestion, typical. :P If financially viable, you might even stretch this co-ordination, with trusted users, to setting up booths for the Sanshee merch etc. Granted this would require significant time and communication, but diversity and loyalty considered, there are plenty of people who could help to massively expand on both fronts.
More along your earlier lines - user generated content being the crux of any community site - how about some sort of written publication? We aren't lacking in linguistic maestros, hell, we have a dedicated writing forum and the skills of the SD crowd. I'm not talking about an H magazine as such (stupid idea) but rather something small-scale, tasteful, and complementary to the aims of the panels. People could submit articles on the more positive aspects, the reasons why we enjoy hentai and what it has going for it, the stuff with the good art and stories, facets such as visual novels etcetera...if not a physical thing to give out or sell at conventions, then an e-zine or just a front-page post every so often (maybe some effort at publicity could be made with non-H but otaku sites; Jacob has some ties with Danny Choo, for example, if the classic April Fool's charade was anything to go by). It'd be hard to make it look half-professional and not just something knocked up in Publisher, but written testimonials are certainly more accessible and easier a contribution than artwork.

We would need to created some basic package that everyone who went to the panel would be able to recite/explain; questions that will most likely be asked which we would all have the same answers for. Why don't we write up a Q and A about hentai and people can add information as it goes, we can then create a type of script in case some of these questions are asked.
Going to make the thread in Random and edit as new ideas are added.

Definitely going to rep this thread when I get a chance, thanks Waar. The ideas are great! I think we should have annual awards for our most loyal bulk-uploaders/average joe Fakku users, if that's even possible - if it's too much work, forget it. And maybe tri-yearly awards for the best threads of every forum, or have everyone nominate/vote for the best threads, which could be funniest, most inspiring, best stories, hottest, etc. I'd like to keep up with those!

Well I'm not sure if mine is as good as the others but I'm really hoping that something could be done to promote the Special Interest section especially the art section, there are a lots of good artist there and some encouraging comments would really help especially those who are working on the artbook or other Fakku projects and recently we have some of our members involved in the creation of a visual novel for iPhone. I wonder how many members knows about this.
My suggestion is highlighting the forum sections on the banner at least once a week or maybe Jacob could post in his updates by picking up one interesting threads and encouraging people to leave comments there.
The volume of people posting in that section are pretty low except for games.

I believe that Fakku needs some community based, constructive activities. I know that sounds cliche, but I think it would be nice if there was something that everyone here could become a part of...
Only problem is, I dont really know what.
But just coming here to fap, answer a few questions in the forums, and then act like an idiot in IB is getting stale.
Maybe a contest... Yes, a contest! FAKKU NEEDS A CONTEST! If you look in the constests tab, it hasnt been updated in a very long time... We need a contest to get Fakku users involved, and perhaps get a bit more life in this place.
But, this contest would have to be of epic proportions. Not just some silly little thing, but something that will go down in the history of Fakku to be remembered forever!
But its your job to come up with what this contest shall be...

Wow. I had no idea something like that was being done. I never visit the Art section because I have no artistic ability and don't even know much about art, but I may have to check it out every now and then, to see what's going on.

Awesome topic, keep the ideas comign.
And...

I am completely open to this idea, but obviously anyone wanting to put the FAKKU name on it would need to have a damn good panel put together. So if people are interested, send me an email.

I got it!!! a FAKKU Original Release H-anime the whole site community could chip in for funds to get it produced and we could all add little storys and make it an anthology series like Cream Lemon!! FAKKU LEMON anyone!?
