Pros vs kids. Obviously there is a sizable gap in ability (to put it lightly), but it's still pretty brutal.

THE STORY CONTINUES, as David Moyes has started to be the manager of Manchester United.
Honestly, I would not expect much from this upcoming season, it'd be really great if we could retain the Premier League title, but I personally would be fine with whatever as long as we qualify to the Champions League.

DA SUMMER TRANSFER SAGA CONTINUES.
Either way, I'm curious about how Moyes will manage MU, after being led for so long by Fergie.
Also ten bucks Bale's transfer gonna be the most expensive transfer this summer.

I'd put my money on Chelsea for next year (unfortunately).Well, if Man United doesn't buy any big player and Man City decides to be inconsistent like last year, then yeah I'd put my money on Chelsea.

Man City look more capable than Chelsea at this point, but Mourinho has a habit of grinding out important results. Man Utd have slightly better squad depth than Arsenal, but not by a lot. Both clubs could do with three new players.

Sounds more like a dream than reality but how I'd love Di Maria to become a Gunner.

Crystal Palace finally secured their first win of the season, albeit over a 10-man Sunderland. ^_^;;
I don't harbour hopes of them staying up, but I hope they give other teams a good run for their money, and perhaps slay a couple of giants along the way.

TIME FOR A MEANINGFUL BUMP FOR THIS GLORIOUS THREAD!
OT: The hell happened with Chelsea and City? Bloody Arsenal is surely a serious contender for this season's Premier League thanks to one certain player.

Both clubs bought too many players and both have a new manager. Chelsea have three or four midfielders competing for every single position, and Man City have four top quality strikers who won't be content with warming the bench.
Factor in that Pellegrini is also in a completely new league, and it takes time. Many people, myself included had Chelsea as shoe-ins for the title this year, but it looks like being a supremely tight race.
I'd be amazed if Arsenal win the league, though. They would kill for one of City's strikers as back up. If Giroud gets a bad injury it's back to Bendtner.
What an amazing game that was tonight, btw. Jonjo Shelvey aka Lord Voldemort, a goal and three assists in a 2-2. Took guts to keep playing and set a goal up for his own team though, and apologised to fans afterwards. I like him, and if he eliminates those mistakes he could be a big player.

If Arsenal can make it until January without additional injuries (I'm looking at you Giroud) then we can afford to relax a little bit. I'll wait for a game against Chelsea, Man U or City to see if we can contend for anything.
Shelvey provided us with a good amount of laughs yesterday.

It's gonna be an extremely interesting game when you face us later in December. We'll see if Fellaini can contain Oezil and his deadly passes.
OT: Rooney scored 2 against Leverkusen! NICEEE! That second goal was pathetic though. Could have been avoided, what the hell happened to the defense???

World Cup '14 draw

-----
ROFL Australia
Spain vs Holland as Group B's first game should be interesting, at least on paper.
Group G has quite a few interesting match-ups; Boetang vs Boateng, Klinsmann vs Germany.
The Argies get a free pass and if they don't manage to at least finish top of their group, they should probably hang themselves for flopping so badly.
And of course France gets a rigged comfortable draw, courtesy of pretty much literally a last-minute rule change by FIFA, giving them enough time to inevitably self-destruct from internal bickering etc.

Man United really needs to get going again. Now that at least we won 4 consecutive games, this could be a good momentum for the Christmas period.
Fucking Liverpool, they kept winning and winning, no one can contain Suarez yet. That guy is good. Fuck.

Pellegrini hitting out at Crystal Palace for its negative tactics.
To be honest, anyone without managerial experience, but some knowledge of association football / soccer, would have adopted the same tactics Crystal Palace employed last night. In fact, Crystal Palace attempted a number of shots on goal.
Unfortunately, Palace lost 1-0. I was hoping for an upset. Even a draw would have been fine. ^_^;;
