The thing's an android tablet (with an uncanny resemblance to the Nexus 7 asus produced as well). If it has the Google Play Store you can simply throw apps onto it as you would any other smartphone/tablet device. Other than that, you can use it to watch youtube videos and browse the web with it really, also makes for a good reader.
It should be able to handle mp3 and other media files just fine. Use an app such as Google Play Music for audio and MXplayer for video.

You can just type whatever you want in google store and search it
Since I don't know your preference (plus I don't use a tablet just a smartphone to listen to music & pretend to be updated)
But I can recommend you Anime Radio if you are into anime songs
Of course you can also download into your computer and transfer it, it just needs the apk installer app to launch the apk file from your memory card and also with permission setting that you need to change so that it install apps that are outside of google store. (Correct me if I'm wrong cause I did that on my unlocked phone)

some were in setting there is the option to allow non market apps.
You can get emulators of Google play.
plus android is Linux based and some people have managed to get Linux installed on android devices

You can move content over to the tablet using a usb connection to the computer with the downloaded content, but to get the most out of the tablet it's more convenient to have a wifi connection. You can download apps as APK files from the net and copy them over to your tablet to install manually, but it'd benefit you to simply bring the tablet with you to common wifi hotspot locations.

i just got another problem, its not even a month yet and i think its already broken,
it started when i shut it down, and tried to turn it on again, after ASUS logo appeared, it wont continue to the menu, it will stay in ASUS logo while theres a "loading" like icon on it (moving), i tried to wait for it for 2 hours and it just stayed in the loading status, and now its in low-battery status,i tried charging it but it wont charge, even if i plug it in a PC,nothing happens,i also dont know how to open a tablet and check its battery and stuffs

you can try to do a hard reset, which will delete everything and set it back to factory default
