This. It's stupid how many people claim to be "hackers" as a threat since they can't really inflict anything to you in the internet.

Also I dislike the popular usage of the term, wish people would call those that breach computer security crackers instead. Whatever.

Most of the crackers you see out there are kids that borrow their techniques and applications from veterans. They're dumbing down the real scene, disgusts me.

This is my opinion based on chance(and tested many many times).

There is vary little chance that someone who could do something big would for purely a reason of them being offended(or pissed off because they were offended).
They are most likely trolling you because they want to freak you out, nothing more then mind games.
Also if he said he is going to put viruses on your computer, that is a big giveaway that its no real threat. Along with him saying that he know moderators.

If you really feel threatened, I suggest the following:
> If you can link your email account to your phone and have not do so.
> If you have sensitive information in your email(s) remove it.(this includes ANY information like ANY other online account ea: facebook etc..)
