I made a similar-ish thread a couple of years ago, and it got an awesome response, so I decided to rekindle it in a slightly different way. Lemme explain the choices... Zombie apocalypse You're hearing about this on the news. It isn't near you, but it's only a matter of days (they are slow zombies). There'll be a mad scrum to prepare, or perhaps flee, but you can set yourself up however you like. However, there will be loads of them, they're highly contagious, and it isn't the nicest way to go. Alien ground invasion Them invading us or us invading them, your choice. They can be fairly weak but their tech will naturally be more advanced than us (sorry, that's just how sci-fi rolls). What that does mean though is getting to use some badass armaments...one of which has been abandoned in your very garden. Will you stand and fight, or go quietly into the night? Dinosaur rampage (I made it sound a bit too deadly) Scientists make dinosaurs. Dinosaurs eat scientists. Hilarity ensues. Again, they're coming to your town, flying buggers and all. That said, there won't be loads, and they will be avoidable. Do you have what it takes? Survivor post-apocalypse Putin proves who's the bigger man, and the world plunges into a darkness from which you and a handful of others emerge. These are Russians we're talking about, so this could be nuclear destruction or viral outbreak (nuclear destroys stuff, but viral leaves rotting corpses). Are you brave enough to venture out and forge a new world? Stranded on a desert island You either fall out of a boat and wash up on a deserted tropical island, or wind up there on a broken boat with a few friends. You're not really sure; it was a long night. What's certain is that this isn't one of those fancy electric islands. Can you craft an idyll, or are the toils and troubles your idea of hell? Medieval Rambo This inevitably requires the most explanation. You wake up in your car, smack bang in the middle of 12th Century England. You don't know how you got there, but you do know that you have your gun of choice, some medical supplies and a trunk full of ammo. You also have a wind-up charging laptop (they do exist) with some encyclopedia software bollocks. Basically, a giant treasure trove of modern knowledge and gear. You can do whatever you want, but you will have to live in the god awful conditions of 12th Century England without a proper doctor (though you could probably make sure that a lot of disease ridden crap never comes near you). Fancy a kingship? I would personally go post-viral apocalypse. Tough, but the infrastructure is there to be utilised, and you can forge a new world by your own standards.

as insanedrunkenbaby mentioned being stranded on an island with several female companions would be great ^^ being stranded with wilson, not so much..

I'd personally go with Post Apocalypse survival, seems less psychologically traumatic (compared to zombies and being stranded alone on an island). And we humans have become so dependent on electricity, we probably wouldn't stand a chance against aliens, because they would probably have EMP weapons. As for Medieval Rambo, i rather not die from the flu because medicine back then was terrible.

Either Survivor or Aliens for me. I'd say I have a fairly good chance of finding a way to live in a post apocalyptic world. I'm pretty interested in seeing alien life forms, and there's the possibility that some of the aliens are hot.

Too many zombie things lately; bored of them. Dinosaurs just don't really interest me. Deserted islands are too ordinary (unless, as some others have said before, you are stranded with a bunch of hot chicks). And I would probably get burned at the stake in 12th century England.

Being in a city full of dinosaurs would be pretty epic. Holding out against endless waves of velociraptors would be pretty awesome. That is, until a spinosaurus comes in and fucks everything up. :(

I go for the zombie apocalypse. Yes I am being crazy now, but the thought of HOTD provoked me to go for that.

It is the most terrible thing though, you'll be in constant thought of being in danger while you really are in danger all the time lol. Since they are highly contagious, there's a good chance that we, probably, will turn into a zombie in the end, the world will be filled with zombies, the end~ only if they are the zombies we saw on HOTD.

Zombies are overused atm... and after all the resident evil games, HotD, and countless ombie mooks you killed in any game that spawns them I'd be beyond surprised if you don 't know what the fuck you do when a real zombie infestation happens

aliens will just eradicate us will tech beyod our understanding... and unless that giant gundam in japan can move I don't see a way to battle them without eradicating ourselves i the process

Deserted island is the easiest of the lot so I won't bother

post apocalyptic nuke = screwed, viral = slow death...

medival Rambo is just no... although I like the combat style of the dark ages I'd rather not be in that time line if possible...
