My Primary Desktop i call "The Mighty Shark", since i bought it from a company called shark gaming and its from their mighty shark series.
My Media Desktop that i have hooked up to my tv, which is my previous primary i call "The Blunt Sword", because its a nice desktop but its not that great for gaming, it could use some sharpening(a new graphics card).

My desktop is Gloucester, my laptop is Morgause, my SSID is ebola. At my parents house the SSID is AIDS and my mom's netbook is Gawain. I mixed my interest in Arthurian legend and Code Geass a little here, plus I thought diseases would disuade people from using the wifi.

The most common name for my computers is "Piece of shit".
"Don't you die on me you piece of shit!"
"Work faster you piece of shit!"
"Why do you do this to me you piece of shit!"
We do so love each other.

Oddly, I've never named any computer I had bought or built myself, but the few times other people have given me one that they have named, I tend to refer it with the name they gave it.

For official PC names (ex. network names), I use the chipset name (Z68, HM67).
For non-PC devices (ex. mobile), I use model numbers (I9250, P5110) or codenames (Maguro).
Other than that, desktop is desktop, laptop is laptop, phone is phone, etc. Also, it would get quite schizophrenic if I gave the PCs names since I dual-boot pretty much everything. :P

First there was Nena, then there was Archibald, and now there is Felix. :3
It goes beyond that, everything in the apartment is named... I get it from my parents.
One of my friends calls my tablet "The Butt Tablet" though which is a name I'm quite fond of.

My computer's name is the "flyswatter", courtesy of the sheer number of bug guts splattered on my monitor. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I see a bug on my screen (and I see quite a few), I always get this sadistic, insatiable urge to smash it, knowing full well that it screws up the screen, and the resulting smear is near impossible to remove. Eh, live and learn right?
