Concert

Just got back from Blink-182, Weezer, Chester French, and Taking Back Sunday. Blink-182 didn't play because of the death of their friend, but the other ones were friggin' awesome! Weezer played an extra long set to make up for Blink's absence.

What was your last concert?

I think my last one was Peelander-Z at an anime convention two or three years ago.

I don't really care for concerts. Bands always sound better on their albums, and when you're listening in your room, you don't have to worry about people being all around you or the smell of pot wafting through the air.

My last concert was the Nine Inch Nails / Street Sweeper Social Club / Jane's Addiction tour. NIN and Jane's Addiction were awesome, JA surprisingly so, but SSSC suuuuuuucked. Tom Morello really needs to learn how to choose lead singers better.

Have to say I've never seen Trent Reznor in better shape. He actually seemed to ENJOY performing for once. Seriously great concert.

I cannot remember all the bands that played at the last concert I was at. The two big ones were Snow Patrol, and Coldplay. It freaking rocked!

Saw Devendra Banhart live last week, it was sexy.
Saw the Strokes a while back, one of the funnest shows I went to when I was younger.
Going to see Why? and The Mountain Goats next month.

The last one I went to that I remember, Is actually two Concerts cause I can't remember wich was the last one. So I will just list both.

The first one is my favorite cause the headline band are gods. So at the concert were the bands:Flobots, Apocalyptica ( kicked butt, should have played right before headliner instead of 2nd from last ), Scars On Broadway ( the only cool thing is the band was made by the drumer and guitarist from Sytem Of A Down, sadly they really suck live ), and METALLICA ( ruled the show ). There was on other band but I can't remember there name.

The other concert was awesome the headlineing band has the best on stage performance I have ever seen. so the bands were: Madina Lake ( was awesome ),
and Story Of The Year ( as said best stage performance ever ). There were two other bands there, but I don't remember them.

I saw Finger Eleven, One member of the Barenaked Ladies, a cover band of The Ramones with the only surviving member in it, an some other cool bands.

Necroing this thread. Tickets went on sale today to see Perfume in London in July, I got mine. It's their first gig in the UK. They're one of my favourite artists, and used to be my number one until Kyary. Cannot fucking wait for this one.

Dream Theater concert last year.

I just saw Opeth and Katatonia last Wednesday, front row, against the bar, was AMAZING <3 Even got an Opeth pick :3.

Welp, I've never been to one. Plus, all of the concerts I want to go to are in Japan.

Last one I went to was Feed Me; took my step-brother and had a blast although I drained my money.

The last concert I was at was my first, which was DIR EN GREY @The House Of Blues on December 23, 2011. Gettin' ready to attend my next concert this May.

Last one was in March, 2 days of SCANDAL. Here's a fancam, I swear my hands are somewhere in there, one of the green lightsticks. And 2 weeks from now, considering going for Kyary's gig with a friend.

Holy shit, I would love to see SCANDAL, I listen to their music often. And definitely don't miss Kyary.

Yeah, best concert of my life so far, even got to high-five all of them. Still undecided for Kyary though, I only know and like 1 or 2 of her songs.

That's awesome, you're lucky. And you should go and see Kyary just for the experience even if you only know a couple of songs. When I went to see her I think most people there only knew like PONPONPON and Tsukema Tsukeru, which was kind of disappointing, but people had a lot of fun. But you should give all her songs a listen. Listen to her Pamyu Pamyu Revolution album and her newest songs, especially Ninjari Ban Ban. All her songs are good.

I really want to see her again...

Man it's been a while since I've been to a concert... I think Epica with Alestorm back in November was the most recent one. Symphony X with Iced Earth before that. Probly going to Mayhem this summer to see Amon Amarth, and I'm trying to convince my friends to go to Bonaroo, but that seems like a cause destined to fail.
