Condom or No Condom

In a perfect world with no diseases and no risk of unwanted pregnancy, no condom wins every time.

In the really-real world... CONDOM. Until both of you trust one another implicitely and both get tested. Then just have her take the pill. Unless your going for babies...

in an ideal world no condom but my gf says where a condom and what she says is final or no sex ( we wouldn't want that now would we)

I want babies because I have this innate need to nurture and love the young. Furthermore, I'm capable of it emotionally and financially. Kinda in the profession, too. I already have a son. Now I would love to have a girl and her father. I want to be envelop by the warmth and comfort of my brood. Family. I'm at a stage where my biological clock is set on procreation. Heck, I want healthy little ones, too. I'm giving myself 5 more years to do so. If not, count my blessings and get old gracefully.

I get annoyed with kids these days (I sound like an old person) I just wouldn't want my child to be some piss brat who I'd want to beat the shit out of.

I was raised where if I acted up and unreasonable I got hit. I don't consider it abuse, and I don't think my mom did a bad job raising me, it was just the consequence.

Plus - if I ever have kids I'd want to adopt.

I know I have mother qualities in me, and I don't doubt I'd be a good mom (not yet financially, but you get what I mean) but I just don't like the way the generations are right now and be too afraid of that happening to my child.

Ziggy, I can totally appreciate what you're saying and can understand your concerns about having children. My folks did that, too and I don't consider it abuse, either. They were exercising their parental right. And, I thank them for that. I believe that you do possess the qualities that will make you a very fine mother. Hehe, I've played with the idea of adoption, too, if no man wanted me. Totally can relate to that.

ARGGGHHHHH!!! That 10 year old displayed total lack of self-control, evidently he had a terrible sense of delayed gratification and is always trying to interrupt his mom. If he can do that to his mom, I'm not surprised if he challenges any other figure of authority. Kids like that have a tendency to do that kind of stuff across different settings; home, school, etc. He must have thought that since he was on tv, he could do whatever he pleases. I would have used Fpod's classic "flip the table" image, he dared to slap his mom! Then, there was also the shifty side-glances and fidgeting. There were half-truths. Right on, I'll give kids like him a whacking they won't soon forget. It would be a humbling experience for sure.

So moral of the story: USE A CONDOM if you're not ready and watch Dr Phil and loads of parenting tip shows and books if you decide to go bareback. Be ready for any eventuality. Its a calculated risk. ^^

You know what you want out of life and that's a great thing, regardless of whether or not it comes to be. I have a lot of respect for you for that. Why the time limit, though? If you meet the man of your dreams 5 1/2 years from now, are you going to let that stop you from having what you want just because he's a bit late? Just throwing it out there...

Sun Quan, where dreams are concerned mine have no limits either. Getting old is mandatory but growing up is optional. That limit was set more because after the age of 35 there is a higher risk of of women giving birth to children with developmental problems, congenital heart defects, etc. I thank you for the boost of confidence to continue believing in our dreams. In all honesty, though, everyone should be using a condom in this day and age. At least until the afore mentioned trust and testing issues are resolved. There's just no excuse to risk your health and that of your partner with all of the knowledge and resources available. Find someone who's healthy and who makes you happy then, by all means, ride bareback all you like. Until then people should just not be stupid about it.

as much as it feels great not to use rubber, I'd prefer having one. I don't want to knock one up and get her pregnant. Jeez, just think about the big responsibility and not to mention, you'll avoid those damn HIV/AIDS. Better be safe than sorry.

Certainly, sex without condom feels very good but precautions should always be taken. In my case anyways since my gf is 17y old and let's say that if anything 'unpleasant' were to happen, it would totally freak the hell out of me and her. So better be safe and sane.
