Crossing the Line

Has anyone been in a situation or know of someone who was in a situation where the other party "crossed the line"? I have a feeling there is a chance this will get moved away from the Love/Romance section, but my story for this is related, so I figure I'll post it here originally. Over a year ago, I became friends with a busboy at a restaurant (he was friends with my friends) and we hung out quite a bit. Mostly just driving around or going to hang at said restaurant. Sometimes he would send me over-the-top text messages. Like, when he'd wake up in the morning, he would say how he had morning wood. Whatever, I ignored it. He's a dude. When we were hanging out once, and playing old school Mario in his garage, he said he wanted to see my "boobie". I refused and kept playing. And when I wanted to go home, he continued saying he would when I showed him my "boobie". He kept it up. It was kind of scary, but mostly agitating. The final time we hung out, I came over to watch The Longest Yard. And he decided to get a blanket and cuddle up right next to me since I was sitting leaning against the arm of the couch. Whatever, I didn't care. I didn't cuddle back at all, just watched the movie and ignored him. But gradually, he became more of a pest. He would start inching his hand up my shirt, making me having to stop it with my arm, and say "I want to touch your boooobies" in a childish voice. And when I would bluntly say "No" back, he would only stop briefly. Eventually, he was constantly whining, trying to reach up my shirt or slide his hand down my inner leg. And he kept up that fucking voice. "I wanna see your booooobies" "Show them to meee?" "You have a vaginaaaaa" -__- I was staring...no, glaring at the TV. Constantly saying no. Constantly stopping his hand. I don't know why I put it up with it and didn't just leave. It could've been because he picked me up and it was the middle of winter. After that night, I stopped going to that restaurant. And stopped talking to him. He still calls me and sends me texts every couple of months. I never answer them, so I don't see what the point is. Anyways... Tell me yours.

I have a story.. It's long, but will probably end up being short.

So, I was going out with this girl back two years ago, She and I were fine, I mean she was a little demanding, and did some very very weird things.. And by demanding, I mean damn right selfish.
To explain selfish, I mean: I was working on my car, since it had a blown head gasket, and she wanted to spend time with me (understandable) but she claimed we never saw each other (when we saw each other EVERY spare minute during school.. And plus I needed my car finished asap so I could actually drive home at some stage, instead of taking the bus. She sent me a text one lunch whilst I was working on my car asking me where I was. I said working on my car cause I really need to get it fixed so I can have transport. She started whinging.. I mean meh, that is a bit subjective.. To me I felt smothered by it, and felt it was a bit selfish.. but anyway, The crossing the line part: We went to a friends party, and I had to drive home at 9pm cause of family, and she was staying there (she got a lift in with her parents) Everything was fine, till I remembered I had signed up for the army that day (I signed up so I could go and test out to see where I'd go, then put it off till I finished school, then see how I go) And she got really pissy.. 9pm came along, she seemed fine, but the next day, I got told by some friends that she cheated on me with THREE other guys, purely due to the fact I had signed up to the army thing (obviously now I didn't go, I changed my mind) I mean, not sleeping with them, but made out with them (Since at the time we were both virgins, It was just as bad, still is) And I broke up with her. I Am soo glad I did too, She is a psycho and is weird as fuck.

Anywho, that is my story.

i im somewhat like that... though i THINK i know my limitations(no one complained)..
i wont go as far as saying 'i want to touch your boobies and all'
i prefer saying,
'i saw your panties. be careful'..
and i can be tactless..
when someone borrows my laptop, i occasionally say
'be careful okay? you might see some porn hidden somewhere'
i cuddle too.. they dont mind..
and i wouldnt go that far to flirt like that to the girl i like..

Aki-chan ugh. That's embarrassing behavior. Ugh I feel so bad for you and how awful that situation must have felt. *shakes head disgusted* I'd take a boring mature adult anyday over a man child that would do that yipes. I never been in a relationship so I has no stories~ But goodness I'll read the others and see "how to avoid this" xD If ever I get in a relationship~

Hmmm...I do remember something odd. It wasn't a line but more like a boundary crossed. In high school this boy I didn't even know was sitting behind me talking about how girls in puerto rico or some spanish place get there hair pulled or something. And out of fucking nowhere minding my own business my head is swung back and this fat pig kid is gripping my ponytail and pulling like say "TUG OF ROPE WAR ON MY POOR HEAD" ;_; I was so shocked out of my mind and surprised and in the MIDDLE OF CLASS no less I was just like (obviously hands flailing in the air flipping out but when it was over) dot dot dot....After minutes that seemed like hours of abusive embarrassment on my head was the dude like said something then walked back to his seat..I was like WTF!!!!! DDDX In my mind. From then on he stared at me and I tryed my best to ignore him and what happened...TT^TT. That was line crossed leapt over. ;__; Im glad Im not in high school anymore!

LOL The point I was making with my comment is that if a person is able to properly pay attention to the signals given off by the people around him / her, these types of situations can be avoided. It helps to be really clear also, i.e. "I'm not interested, but thanks anyway". The op asked if anyone else has been in a similar situation, my response is that thankfully it has not happened to me, and I explained why.

Nah, I think it was in the space of 30 minutes or less.. Also, I don't think it'd be worth it unless your in lower Aus on your way to Tas sometime soon xD

I have no idea what Aus and Tas are, but anyway, jokes aside one of Aki-chan's utter failures in judgement reminded me of the following:

There is this relative of mine around my age that because of our families spend a lot of our summer vacation together as kids, and remained in touch throughout school. After high school though I entered a long term relationship and we lost touch for some years. So in between, I move abroad and I wanted to break up, so she comes to stay with me for some time... to make the long story short we had a very nice time, and at some point after drinking a little bit while watching F/SN, I try to kiss her, so she gets completely shocked and tells me that she can not see me as anything more than a friend, which was a good point, probably it was the same for me, just feeling horny at the time thinking about the VN instead of the anime. But a year afterwards, she invites at her family's summer house, where instead of her family she was staying there alone, not even telling them that I was coming; and to my surprise did not act very friendly, more like what happened made her completely stop looking as a friend.

Yeah, whenever something bizarre happens, my mind goes into a "I have no response for this situation...."

Like once, one of my guy friends kissed me on the lips randomly. Or when I went to a party, this guy I met shook my hand and went in straight for a kiss on the lips.

I was at a loss the first time one of my female friends fell for me. I was only open to physical relationships at that point which she was cool with. But unfortunately, she liked me too much and I knew it was going to lead to a heartbreak. She was a great friend that I didn't want to lose, but her advances was wearing down my self-control. Had to stop seeing her in the end.

Things like this happened a few times before I became sharper. Eventually I learned to read the subtleties and see exactly where things are going early on.

I haven't seen this thread around in a bit, and seeing as I have a lot of stories... Lets see...

Here's one, long story short; After constantly nagging me to do multiple things for her I had no time for (ex: I was studying for a major test the next day, and she'd text me outta no where after I told her I was doing such, but she could come over if she liked, but instead decided to go out with her friends, understandably, and ask me to come to where ever she was IMMEDIATELY, just because... no), I decided to break up. I had a lot going on, and didn't need that. She gets pissed, and a few days later, she ends up nailing me when I wasn't paying in the back of the head with a stick. So yeah. Shit ain't right. (For those of you curious, the Crossing the line part is the constant nagging and control, and the hit to the head).

What else...

Oh, I may or may not have told this one; This one time, in Highschool, I had a female classmate ask if I could come over to help her study. Please note, I had no romantic interest in her. In fact, I had no interest in general, but I was a nice guy, so I was like, "Sure, why not". Mistake one. So, I go over to her house, things get under way, we're studying, having a decent time, ya know? So she's like, "I'll be back, going to the bathroom". So I'm like, OK, sure. Moments later, she comes out of the bathroom, pretty much naked. Now, most of you are saying, "DUDE, GO FOR IT!". Fuck no. For a variety of reasons, but mostly because I had more sense than most highschool students. Anyways, I try to turn her down nicely, and proceed to leave. She makes a fuss, a bit of a swearstorm, and I go home.

That's not the fun part; Apparently she decided to spread rumors about me around school, so the next day, I had shit to deal with. What I do? The next time I saw her (in class I believe), I told her that just because I turned her down because she was acting like a total slut when I went to her house, doesn't mean that she should spread stupid lame ass rumors about me like a bitch, and to suck it up.

I was willing to let that shit slide. Figures she'd try to make it worse... anyways, yeah. By the way, I did get punched later by her boyfriend. -_-;

I can some times get close to thar line we all do but my gril just kick to living SH** out of me when i do.F Y I to all the guy just starting date dont date a gril that have 4 Older brothers thats mean she can kick someones as* 2 times her size but i love her.
