When I have time to dress up, I go all out. But I still peddle the candy.

On occasion I celebrate Halloween with my friends... and by celebrate I mean we sit around watching bad or funny horror or Halloween themed movies while eating bulk candy and or in costumes.

Even though my country does not celebrate it, we celebrate Halloween by telling ghost stories.

Sadly, no candy is involved.

I do it gives people a time to actually dress up and not be completely judged... Although it really bothers me when I have 16 year olds going to my house as trick-or-treaters... Which is like 70% of my neighborhood so...

I take my kids trick or treating every year. I dress up sometimes, too.

Best friend's birthday is Halloween. Never celebrated it as Halloween.

I do but in my own way. I put on some Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins, dress up in my personal costume of Jack the Ripper and scare the fuck out of those little shits that come to my door by opening the door and showing a fake mutilated body. When the night is over I drink wine, chill with my girlfriend, and play some SMT with her. 3 days later I get a bunch of angry letters from parents saying my house is too disturbing for children and to tone it down next year... I never do...

I love Halloween. This year I dressed up as a shark and handed out (fake) fish heads.

Halloween is my most beloved holiday. All throughout the month of October I am busy with going to as many haunted houses I can get away with.

Because I don't live in town, I go over to a friends house and we eat, drink, and play games while kids come to our door.

I have and always will have fond memories of Halloween. Even as an adult I have ways of enjoying the holiday. But, it pains me to see that it's slowly dying. Advertisers no longer care that Christmas isn't until near the end of December and want to push holiday shopping NOW. Trick-or-Treaters are becoming an endangered species.

And the holiday itself just seems so watered down to suite the bible-humpers who believe we're celebrating the devil (even though that's incorrect). Sometimes it makes me sad.

we dont celebrate it in my country. we have something called Aguizotes in wich people dresses like the phantoms, demons and spectre of the oral tradition. they go out at the last friday of October in the city of Masaya to walk or dance in a procession all over the citiy wearing tunics and traditional paper masks they also drink a lot in that night so just imagine a big crowd dressed with long tunics wearing masks and holding torchlights dancing, screaming and drinking passing in front of your house!

i think we dont need halloween in my country Nicaragua, youre more than welcome to come and visit my land and get wasted with Native Licor made of corn xD

Well, if one counts having candies to give the kids that knock on the door as celebrating Halloween, then yeah we do celebrate it. Though, it doesn't really make any difference to me whether we celebrate it or not.
