Yeah, I'd have a difficult time dating someone who wasn't interested in anime or gaming.
Why? Because it's a huge interest of mine and I'd like to be able to have that interest in common with each other.

It would depend a little more then just the way someone dressed up. Sure they could be hot & look great, but it takes more then that for a relationship..

I think cosplay is nice! at the end of the day though cosplay is just like fashion sense, people who do dress better do become more physically attractive, so on the physical side yes it would be more appealing. The important bit is to find someone with a good heart to match with those good fashion!

Pretty much this.But, in this case I think How couldn't you find this attractive and be on this place where people have such similar interests

A girlfriend who was an otaku would clearly be a plus, but I doubt it is an option for me, since I do not know that many people IRL which are interested in anime/manga

i never dated an otaku girl before but i would like to the problem is i dont usually go to conventions so it's a damn shame.

I think I could only date someone who shares my interests. At the very least, she wouldn't be creeped out by what I'm into.
