I couldn't date with a fellow female cosplayer (but could and have done with a male), competitive streak, but I could with a lolita. But they have to have an interest in anime and manga, doesnt work other wise >.<

Hmm not so much if (s)he cares more about his/her hobbies than you. Because I knoooow a lot of cosplayers are like that. They treat you as an accessory. At least, that is what I heard from other's experience.

well to me... heck yea I will date a cosplay or Otaku. why.
First we might got some common thing as mind as talking all day about anime
might add little story to ours creation as more amusement.
Second even we might go little far as hentai stuff we might do those things lol

I wouldnt date her only based off of if she cosplayed or not, but yes, I would still date one given that her characteristics are what I like. Its basically a plus because I love women in cool/sexy outfits, and cosplay is basically just that. THye like to cosplay, I like to look.

i am glad to say that i now have my 1st girlfriend! and she is indeed a cosplaying otaku and she had the biggest double crush on me so 2 years later i finally told her i would go out with her, she reminds me of Miharu from Girls Bravo, they acts similar and her voice sounds very identical.

i dunno, i've had a bit of a messy past with guys and the first guy i went out with wasn't otaku but a big geek and so shy and always taking the initiative on everything got old really quickly with me. the next guy was a total bastard.
then, since i came to university where i became really otaku i've tended to just like the hot guys *blush* Lol. i can't help it.... i started martial arts and all those hot bodies are just too much *nosebleed* but i'm too shy to talk to them.
i don't really know any other people who are into anime apart from my girl-mates....
would be nice though. i haven't cosplayed yet due to funding issues but i imagine it'd be an awesome kink to ingulge in!! :)

Hmm. I suppose I'd date a male cosplayer if they were also a decent person outside of conventions.
But in terms of guys dating female cosplayers? I'd imagine the only common issue for all such situations is dealing with others always looking at your partner and taking their photo. :o

hmm..if she has a good body and cute...then it's good to date her...since cosplays usualy dye their hair and wear costumes to make them cute...just imagine if a cute girl dye their hair and wear minimum costume......
