Do you guys still think of Fakku as just a porn/hentai site?

Do you guys still think of Fakku as just a porn/hentai site?
I mean yeah its supposed to be a Hentai site , but iv'e been lurking on Fakku's forums for a while now , there are so many discussions of many different topics to choose from that i get immersed totally in reading and joining discussions that sometimes the reason i come to the site is only to go to the forums.
To me Fakku is not just a hentai site but one of the best and very informative site iv'e ever been through.

What about you guys ? what do you think about Fakku?

note: This is just a question that suddenly popped in my head and i just wanted to know what others think . Sorry if i have bad grammar my english is still rough.

Quite the opposite actually. Now that the User Uploads has been virtually decimated, I get virtually no hentai material from Fakku. Fakku could completely get rid of all hentai material and it would make no difference to me. I'm here mostly for the community, although even that has gone downhill quite a lot over the last couple of years.

I'm active now only a fraction of the amount I was this time a couple of years ago.

That's somehow my point , i don't go to fakku for hentai anymore , i go for the community here. it's kinda more entertaining to be in discussions(for me anyway).

Nah, not really.
But primarily? Sure. But for me it's come to be more of a community with a common interest in hentai and the discussion/reading/responding to it as a medium.

But that's just my art history major talking ;D

Half half.. i'm here half the time for the hentai, and the other half for foruming.. cause i am a forum addict tbh... I have 4 forums i visit regularly.. used to have like 8... is hard work.. xD

I usually get my hentai from elsewhere and 99% of the time I come here for the forums and the people.

I barely download anything on the site, I like the comunity, I mean, when I write "f" chrome puts as first choice "fakku.net/forums".

[font=segoe print bold]When I come to Fakku, first I check if anything new came to the hentai section, than I come to the forums and stay until I skimmed trought most of the topics I have interest in, than lurk some on IB just for the hell of it. If I don't have any other things to do like work or gaming withdraw effects (lol) I come here multiple times a day. So, yeah, a large chunk of my time visiting Fakku is on the forums.

I dont usually read doujins on Fakku, so I dont really think of it as a porn site, I come here for the forums. I actually browse Fakku on my laptop in public places, and even my friends know what Fakku is.

Nah... more as a community, but then again it really depends on the places your visiting on the forums

OT: I used to browse it for my Hentai manga and anime fill. But now it's just sort of a forum site for me at least. At times there are some interesting uploads but they're just scarce.

Like Tsurayu said, the masterlists died so now people use torrents and Google to look for their H anime. Not only that, but it seems like uploads have become sparse ever since the death of the said masterlist (I don't even see the user 'Disgusting' reuploading anything. Would you blame him though after all that uploading? Must've took hours...)

I can also see people complaining about Yaoi on this site as well. That can push people away from this site that look for H manga. As much as we have exclaimed,"READ THE GODDAMN TAGS! If you don't like it then don't read it." they get sick of the yaoi and take off. Not to mention loli and other extreme fetishes being banned. You'd be surprised at the fetishes people have.

nope. most days when I'm on Fakku I don't even touch the hentai. For like the first year I was a member that was all I did was look at the hentai. But these days I actually find it the forum that I am the most comfortable on. Because everyone already knows that everyone else here is some type of pervert and likes hentai. That is always the biggest thing that makes me feel odd around other people. But with everyone here I feel sooo much more at ease. That's why I like the forums more than anything else

when i first started i was all abotu the hentai, but since the first time i went into the forums, i havent went back to porn. In person i dont really associate with otakus because they always have a creepy character trait so fakku is my only way to associate with otakus

with the good community here and the interesting discussions i somehow forgot that this is a hentai site lol, when i open it in public i go straight to forums . Except for the porn ads below people won't really notice that this forums is on a hentai site.
