Originally I joined for the hentai but now I like to look through the forums and participate in discussions. I still like my H-manga on fakku but the forums change faster than the rate of new manga's so that why I'm usually here for the forums.
One thing I've noticed is that the regulars on the forums and the regulars on the manga comments are two completely different crowds with the exception of me, T-Sex and a couple others.

So my answer is kinda a mix. I still think of fakku as a hentai site, but also as a chat site. When I joined fakku I was just browsing in the NB section. I didn´t think I would ever make friends here or talk that much to people here.

No I do not. But I am reminded when I come here in a public place. That feeling that the person next to you is judging you because of the porn ads, or laughing at this is a good reminder.

I had forgotten why I had initially joined those four years ago, but I feel glad that I'm here today. The community is mainly the reason I still appear at all. While it is true that I go months at a time before deciding to log in again, I always remember to come back and check up on what's happening periodically.
Sure, We had our ups and downs in terms of users who log in for the sole purpose of being banned, such as that guy, lightning--something or other, who communicated with nothing but racial slurs and white supremacy back in around '07, but the majority of people who log in here are likeable. And that's why I keep coming back.

Nope, To me, Fakku is a place to socialize and meet lots of asshole and good people at the same time. I know I get my daily dose of doujins here and whatnot, but you learn a lot from this place, especially the forums.

Well yes, it IS a hentai site, and has great material. But it also has the greatest community who can share that interest, as well as countless other topics discussed. Fakku is also my Google chrome homepage because the site is that good.

I don't even read hentai manga/doujins here that much. I come for the community in comparison to why I came 3 years ago (sharing hentai videos in order to keep the links alive).
