For some reason, I get sooooo sleepy when driving in the daytime. Especially in the summertime. But at night, I'm as alert as an owl. Driving at night is so much fun personally. A windy, empty road, inky darkness, and a 1990 RX-7. Pure joy.

I hate driving. I never did get over the initial nervous feeling of cars in front of me, behind me, to the left and right of me. *shudders*
I wish I could live in a city where I wouldn't need to drive.

I have a mild case of Narcolepsy... Still drive a ton though.
Feels good to have the freedom that opens up to you when you are behind the wheel... but also hate the gut feeling I get when I think I may crash, Oh well for the most part I can feel it coming on and I just pull to the side of the road and sleep. This continues till my destination... Fun.

I like driving stick. it's way more fun than automatic transmission. i also think stick makes me concentrate on driving a little more.on the other hand, I would much rather ride than drive. i like to let my mind wander and just look out the window.
i think the biggest problem i have is the other drivers. the other day, someone honked and flipped me off for slowing down in a school zone. i think licences are way to easy to get. i also think most traffic laws should have harsher penalties. i had to do a weekend work program instead of going to jail, and there i met people with many DUI's who were still driving. one guy had >10. one day though, the sherif's were waiting after work. they busted and towed a bunch of them. i laughed.
Totally agree.
I just feel so free while driving, my senses sharpen a lot. So far just once and old man crashed me (his fault). I need to be very aware of the surroundings here for the followings:
- People = Random animals: They just throw themselves on the street without look.
- No Sidewalks: next to the street, instead of sidewalks you got ditches, if you fall from them... think of "the pit" from mortal kombat... so the people walks in the street.
- Random Animals: From cats, squirrels, to cows... no kidding.
- Typical idiots: From those who keeps playing more attention to the phone, those like my stepfather that pays more attention to a stain in the side of his shirt, to those who blocks the traffic to talk to someone in the side of the street.
Ah... how cute my country.

Yes I do like to drive, most of my summer job involves driving. I put on around 100-300 miles a day so I better damn well enjoy driving down country roads with music blasting.
Even more fun because my car is manual unlike the lame ass's that drive auto.

I enjoy driving by myself or with my friends. Sometimes driving with my brother or cousins are also okay. But never am I okay with my parents in the car. They think I'm too close to the curb or the other cars when there is still like two feet of distance.

Ah... how cute my country.
I live in a college town. And on campus pedestrians have the right away.
It's always so much fun at the beginning of the year, which dipshit freshmen don't know this. If there is someone who gets hit, it's usually one of two things.
1. A dipshit freshmen was driving.
2. Someone wasn't using the crosswalk like they were suppose to.
Occasionally you get the impatient drivers who see you coming, and so try to zoom out right before you get to them.
Almost had my foot ran over because one suddenly took off.

I have been driving since 1957 and have always loved it
I drive a Jeep
I have always driven a Jeep
My very first car (jeep) was a "war surplus" jeep I got at auction for $35
Cost 7 bucks to get it running again and put over 200,000 miles on it before it went to Jeep heaven
No top
No doors
Rubberized Horse hair filled canvas seats
Fold over front window
4 cylinder flat head
4 wheel drive
Funky Military tires for the first 2 years
Top speed 45 miles an hour uphill downhill into the wind with the wind
Never failed to start (or stop)
Didn't have a key just an off/on switch and no one ever stole it (those were the days)
Never had a date complain
GOD I miss her
Pony
EDIT
It had a 7.5 gallon gas tank and gas was $.299 a gallon when I started driving
