There should be a 'Both' category. :) But i've seen more better quality manga then doujinshi, so I chose manga~

I'm torn as both are awesome and fulfill different needs/wants. Sometime I want a story arc and sometimes I want character I already know to just go at it.

normally i'd say manga, but the Monhan no Erohon series demolishes any attempts I make to fully betray doujinshi.

I get a weird feeling reading doujinshi with characters i recognize acting, well, completely out of character!
I like doujinshi if the situation would make sense in the actual story line. I generally prefer H-Manga.

When a doujin's good, it's really good. When it's bad, it's painful to read/look at/fap to.
With a manga, there's no comparison to any original series and it isn't constricted by any obligation to remain true to it. It's really great to see all the different stories and situations the artists come up with to revolve around what's always going to be there - sex.
So for me, manga.
oh, but good doujins are good fap material!

I'd definitely prefer manga over doujinshi, especially since most doujinshi are either people helping others achieve their fantasies of doing a certain character or the character is acting completely out of character. The doujin that manage to keep the character... in-character (haha) are the doujin I enjoy the most. The Monhan no Erohon series is probably my favorite in this category. I feel bad for not having played any Monster Hunter games, though.
I choose manga more because I love seeing new characters thought up. I especially like it when those characters come back, like in a series of chapters related to one another. I adored Amami Dokoro to pieces, and Dr. P will forever be a godsend.
tl;dr Manga over doujinshi for reasons.

But you gotta remember, doujins are any independently created thing like games, manga, animations, music that are released every comiket and the like. Manga are just that, japanese comics, and comics can be any number of things that are sequential art. Even a kids doodles in class would probably be considered a manga if it followed some story, albeit probably a very shitty manga. So most of these hentai mangas are doujinshis anyway.

This was a tough choice, but I have to say that I prefer Mangas more because they allow for more intricate story lines. But certain artists like, but aren't limited to are Tosh or Number 2 really can bring a doujinshi to life. Although, I have to say that Kamino ryu-ya won me over

I prefer the manga because in the manga there are many benefits and a good moral message for the readers

I only come here for the massive collection of (for the most part, well-sorted and organized) Original Work H-Doujins, so I voted for that.

the picture of this question reminds me of a certain gag: a blond woman (with a face expresion like in that picture) goes to a sperm bank and stands in line for donations, a man standing next to her asks - Are you here for the donation? then she calmly gives that man a memo which says: "Yes, yes, just don't ask me anything, I'm in no position to speak". . . :D

Both are good for my preference. H-manga has good storyline and character development, while some H-doujinshi has good artistic design and loads of sexual scenes.

Doujins, just a lot more detailed and I like the one shots. Do wish there was a both option though. >.

Gotta go with doujinshi on this one. Even if the art style isn't spot on with the original artwork, the character it represents is still the character I love, and then I get to see them depicted in erotic scenes? Please, what better way to live out the attraction to a particular character than an erotic depiction?
It's also a big plus when I read a doujin where the MC gets the girl I though he should have been with, kind of reconciles it with my ideal story end.
