Do you read/watch hentai for the art or for the plot?

Plot. If art is good it is wonderful, but plot for me is still more important. If I want to see art, I will check some images in Nosebleed. But for both manga and Doujinshi plot is more significant.

Plot is the goal, art is medium. To approach core you need good medium, but without goal the medium itself is just useless.

Art mainly and sex scenes as well. If it has a funny or serious plot that isn't cliche, I may watch it for that as well. If I want plot I'll go watch an anime because hentai is something to fap to for me. If the hentai involves MLP, it's for the plot (if you catch my drift). ;D

Hard to say. Both are important, but I guess I can ignore a bad plot. I can't ignore bad art.

Where is the both button? a good storyline without good art is the same as good art but crapy story. There is be to a balance in both for a story to be good. so in this case i say that both is need for me to read it.

Art is basically all for me.. i dont care if its a boring read.. if its amazingly drawn.. im hooked.. And im really picky when it comes to the art

It's a really tough call, a story with good plot but bad art puts a damper on the experience, and good art with a bad story just isn't too exciting.

I really can't choose between them.

Well... actually... If you're going by a 'that could never happen' because it's so vanilla, or something... then, I suppose you're right in that sense. Also, I'm talking purely about manga here :3 hentai is another story... there is still some nice ones out there :D

I mean, it's definitely better with good art, but in cases such as a Vanilla manga/doujin, it's definitely the story which makes me love it all the more! The art could be subpar in that case, but the story would make up for it. I'm more of a...story-driven man.

I like having good art, cause thats what helps catch the attention of readers. If the plot cant keep me focused then its not worth reading, there are sum amazing hentai with good plots those are on my favs

Art comes first, but it would be nice if it has a good plot. And if its a hentai, good voice actors. I love Bible Black but jez the dub for it was fucking horrible!

Both actually factor into whether or not I enjoy a hentai. But art is more important to me. For me, it's gotta be cute.
