Do you think Fakku! will ever grow to the size of HongFire?

lol half of these guys doesn't know hongfire.

Hongfire is what you can call our closest "rival" (I think).

they have the same forums, like us, but what makes them different is their "Game upload" database is the biggest in the internet, majorly in torrents. Fakku currently focuses on H manga/doujin more than them (I think)

they also have your regular manga/anime uploads, but people don't come to Hongfire for that.

they come to hongfire to get new games, and Mods for Illusion games (Hongfire is the home of Modders for Illusion games, like Artificial girl 3, @Homemate)

well, that's a nut shell I guess. Sometimes we beat them in Alexa for a couple of days. that's a sign right?

well, I just hope that fakku won't fall over because of it's weight iin the future.

Calm down dude, your talking about the IB thread there. The IB thread is meant to be like that, without IB imagine where those "quick" threads will go? I can't imagine a life without the IB, a place where I can talk stupid and incoherent and take a break from being serious.

People come and go. The community will grow. It could be good, it could be bad. So it goes.

Why are there really THAT many assholes in hongfire?

True that.. I can't think of a single exclusion to this.

Anime has it even worse I have to say; once you get a large community going, like 70% of the userbase will just be 13 year olds splurting out crap from 2004 and talking about their favorite Naruto episode while ending every sentence with a XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I can. But the ones I have in mind are usually frequented by a mature audience (not in terms of age, but mindset, they're not 18+ boards)

One particular board has at least about 1000 users online at any given time and the moderators are pretty much jobless because nobody behaves like a jackass (and I mean it, all the mods do is move threads lol).

off-topic: fakku spoon-feeds too much, and users take said spoon-feeding for granted and grow dependent, leading up to said users being unable to survive anywhere else

i'm sure fakku will grow bigger, the community is fun though here which is better than HongFire, we just have to make sure people stick to the rules around here so they dont have to get stricter and make it annoying desu

I wish great luck to fakku in growing but I like the size of it right now. When forums start getting bigger and bigger it becomes harder to connect with members because their are so many of them. With the vast number of members you also increase the number of assholes that are on your forum ruining the fun for everyone else.
