Do you think its better to be single than having a GF?

I never seemed to need a woman to make myself feel whole, so I don't get lonesome. Always had the confidence that you supposedly get from being in a relationship, and when I did eventually have sex, it was boring in comparison to masturbating. Single life is the life for me.

Its better to be single if you find girls to be annoying or something..
You wont spend much money on dates or buying gifts..
It wont be troublesome to ask permission if you want to go somewhere..
You wont get a headache thinking too much about your girlfriend..
You can flirt any girls.. <- no one will nag at you and be jealous
Your free do anything~ not thinking someone to worry
Having a gf:
you can rants anything on your gf (rants about your friends..family..etc)<-- she will listen to you
you can share dramas with her..
you can have sex with her
she will care for you dearly
keep you warm
you can hug her kiss her or whatever
gf <-- can be your wife, mom, sister, bestfriend, lover at same time
You wont spend much money on dates or buying gifts..

It's always worth it to have a girlfriend as opposed to being single.Pros: Being in love is a great feeling
-Company with someone you like
-You have someone who will support you
-Sex is always better with someone else rather than alone
Cons: You have to deal with some annoyances
-You get less time to spend alone or with friends
-You will spend money on dates
The cons of having a girlfriend definitely don't outweigh the pros. If you can have a girlfriend get one, they're awesome (now I feel like I'm selling something XD).
Lol. This pretty much summed up my thoughts.

For me I guess I am always longing for someone who I can share and do things with, so for me I am fine to be single if I had a close friend which I could share everything with (gender doesnt matter).

without the sex part my sister would be like my gf , i prefer being single though gives me much more freedom but having a gf wont be bad till my sister finds out i have a gf then things will be very troublesome for me .

Depends on the girl.Get a finicky girl, expect walking on glass.
Get a relaxed girl, expect a relaxed relationship
Get a stupid girl, expect lousy conversations and boring relationships
Get a hot girl, expect possible good sex, but level of relationship
All types of girls. Many more I haven't mentioned.
I definitly agree with ziggy, if you find the girl that matches your presonality the most, you will be the happiest. But if you cannot connect with someone like that find a person that you can atleast talk to and stuff.

The topic question entirely depends on each inherit situation and personality for example if this question was asked 3 months ago I would of said "Yes, yes it is" because I wasn't interested at the time I was working heavily etc etc however now I am not I would Say "No, no it is not" because I have less work to do more free time and I have recently started socialising more but i'm still a heavy recluse

If I were a in "Be A Cynical Bastard" mode I'd say no. You can't be betrayed by someone you don't let in. But I'm not in said mode, so I say yes, companionship, being with someone you enjoy, those are the smaller things in life you need to enjoy.

I think it depends on the lover. If your lover causes you nothing but pain and suffering and does nothing but bitch around and all of that nonsense... I think its better to be single.

being single is nice since you can use all the time you have doing things that you like or hanging out with friends.. but i prefer having a GF. somehow GF's are the one who can take care and love you what ever the hell are you doing. (i dont really find or love a girl because of sex though)

I think its better to be single.i know alot of guys like this. its kinda funny i'll talk with guys and they'll ask "what wrong with your gender?" then they'll rant about all the horrible things women do and all of the trouble they cause guys(they spend all your money, they treat you like dirt, they nag, ect) but then those same guys get into relationships and do the exact things they were complaining about, to their girlfriends. (they "borrow" money, they treat the girl like trash, they "suggest" things their girls should do better or not at all or start doing) sometimes guys are so much worst than the women they complain about.it really is funny.

most of those were economic benifits of being married rather than being in a relationship, and the last one is purely dependant on a person's emotional stability

combination of accounts equal very bad if partner is a bit of a spender ergo your money is her money and vise versa. Last one (the one about depression and such) only works in a stable relationship. Although married couples get higher pay, Working professionals are more likely to get hired
