Bah! Bad guys are over-rated. I reckon this applies to straight females, bis and homos. In the long run, who actually wants to be entrapped to a socio-emotionally autistic bastard (not by birth but by disposition)? Plus, there's a likelihood that you'll suffer a burnout trying to sustain a relationship with one.

It all comes down to confidence, or the lack of it, in nice guys.
Unfortunately, often the Bad Boys aren't actually confident in their abilities. Those girls that fancy them mistaken their smugness and delusions of superiority for true confidence in themselves. Granted, there are bad guys that do have real confidence, but most of them just think they're better than others.
Nice guys that do have confidence isn't rare. It's just that there's too many guys out there without a pair of balls, and the confident ones get drowned out by the white noise.

Nope, it's the other way around. In my own perception, girls are usually kind so I think they would prefer good boys to bad boys.

The statistics seem kinda sketchy, as in it doesn't seem like most girls, but those in those types of relationships. You'll also notice that most of the females in the survey weren't exactly the worlds finest. Is it wrong? Probably not, but not a great example to use to prove "girls go for the bad boys".
