I've never been terribly clear on what exactly an OVA is (I don't watch anime that much,) but I do enjoy anime movies from time to time.

mainly because most of them consist of either an alternate remake and retelling of the series
or (my favorite) a continuing of the story where the series left off

Well I'll watch anything if I think it'll be good. that said Howl's Moving Castle, is tied with Straight Jacket for my favorite anime movie ever. So I had to quote this.

It is downright heresy to not watch movies and OVAs. Heresy. A heresy on the same level as dating a girl (and we all know what the FFF does to people who do that) (for those of you who didn't get the reference, please go watch baka to test)

Just as any treasure hunter would have sparkly eyes for a treasure, I'd go Sparkly Eyed for any OVA and Movie an anime I watch has.

depends. The One Piece, Naru and Bleach films were all so-so so I stopped watching them until now with the authors making the stories themselves. One Piece Z was freaking awesome.

Hellsing Ultimate was one of my favorite OVA's and I love anime movies like the Bleach and Evangelion rebuild films
