Considering the nature of this forum, I can safely assume that everyone here faps. And there's no denying that the Japanese people are into some strange things that some people here may enjoy too. But I'm not creating this topic to judge. Recently, I've been feeling like I watch some strange things to fap. Not really Hentai, I actually think the Hentai I'm into is quite normal in contrast with how weird Hentai can get. But I do watch some porn that can be considered weird and looking back, this is something that has been growing as time goes by. For instance, in 2011 I was somewhat disturbed by deepthroat porn. Now, I find it normal. From a psychological point of view, I think that these tastes are very difficult if not impossible to lose. The way I see it is that, if it hurts no one, there's no problem. Like I said, since November 2012, more or less, I've been wondering about this and today, watching an episode of Californication, the bald pervert was, quite humorously, talking about "weaning off the weird stuff" and that made me want to do the same. So, now I'm going through my collection and eliminating some strange things. What's your take on all of this? And by this I mean the general situation, not necessarily my own case. Do you think your sexual interests deviate from the norm and can, therefore, be considered strange by society in general? If so, are you still happy with your interests? In your opinion, do you think these are things you had all along and discovered or things that exposure to sexual materials has developed? Have you ever wanted to stop using these materials, permanently or temporarily? After finding/developing these tastes, do you think it is possible to lose them? Where would you draw the line, so to speak, when it comes to the pursue of these interests?

I got that far that you're not the one trying to tell me what's normal and what's not, and that was more a general statement to my view of the whole thing than trying to be impolite towards you. On hindsight, I should have made it more clear, but I wasn't expecting you to feel addressed by the mentioning of 'insecure little fucks', oh well. I see that you insult people directly very quickly.

I considered the general statement but went against it since that's all your comment was. If you had said something else and then that, I wouldn't take it that way. I did retort in a similar way and a fast way (even though I waited until I got more posts) but only because, in a debate, I would have advantage since "little fucks" is meaningless and "idiot" is meaningless if I had proof of your misunderstanding.

But that's a long explanation to an ended problem. I guess I was just expecting a different reception to this topic and, while I got some interesting takes on this, I get the feeling (more than a feeling really) that people here are very, very defensive about their interests and I can detect some anger at the very idea of changing to fit society which is a bit of a paradox since everyone is weird and everyone is society. Therefore, society is weird.
