Favorite board game?

What is it about Monopoly that everyone likes so much? I've never played it, but I always get the impression of it being the game that never ends. <.<

Speaking of which, I also forgot LIFE. Love that game too. Clue, Scattegories and LIFE. I'm content with those being my top three.

I love all games, it is the thrill of competition that keeps me going.

Strategy games are always fun cause you are always learning.

Chess, Cranium, and Axis & Allies are 'bout the only games I play.

RISK...too bad no one wants to play it with me...

Heh, Risk. I don't get it. It is one of my friend's favorite board games and he got me to play it once. Admittedly I didn't give it much of a try, but I wasn't impressed by the set up. I guess it just isn't really my style, but it is so universally popular. Maybe I should give it another try.

I've always liked playing Risk and Chess. Sadly I suck at chess and those who I usually play(ed) with are really good.

And Trivial Pursuit, although my common knowledge is pretty much nonexistent. D:
