Food You Miss The Most

Everyone on Fakku is at least 18 years old (supposedly) , so I'm sure a lot of us have a food , or drink we used to have ,and are no longer able to. So whether it be your dead grandmas cookies , a candy or soft drink no longer in production , or like myself your just on a self imposed nutrition plan , what is the food you miss the most ?

P.S./ I fucking miss the baked apple pies at McDonalds...haven't had Mc D's or really ANY fast food in 3 years...T_T

I miss the golden(ish) can Caffeine Free Pepsi drinks, it didn't really taste any different than the regular but that was like my childhood drink there. I also miss the Brisk products with the awesome puppet advertisements.

I miss my spicy cheetohs that they use to have. I don't think they have it anymore. And what happened to Pepsi blue :( I liked it.

I just ate spicy cheetohs.

I haven't seen hot red cheetohs in Canada for years. I don't think we have them up here anymore.

I do miss my grandma's pedaheh (Ukrainian perogies) and guacamole doritos.

well, pretty much anything my Grandmother could make (On my mothers side, dad's side can't really cook all that well)

She isn't dead, but she did have a stroke, and really doesn't cook anymore, it's a shame. She could cook the pants off of any grandmother anywhere.

I miss good Indian food! I moved to Denmark from Australia and there are NO good Indian restaurants here...

I also miss Timtams, you cant get those here either...

A baked pita (a kind of round, thin bread hollowed out inside) with spicy chicken inside.

God, it was delicious and easy to make.

But I can't seem to find a good pita bread around here...so neither me or my family has it anymore.

Pity, because it was godly, and made for a good "bigger snack" too.

Egg custard tarts for this one chinese restaurant in Victoria BC. I would go every year and order like 3 plates each time. They didnt have the same recipe ever since last year. Likely the original chef there retired. Thank god the food is still pretty good.

fried dill pickles, green tomatoes and grandma's cheesecake.

Iced Mint tea my mother used to make.

Long time ago, we owned a small house with a garden, where we had a number of plants, mint among them. We would snatch the leafs and put them in boiling water to make tea...then add some sugar, wait until it cools and put in some ice cubes.

The resulting drink was far better than anything you could ever buy at any shop. Sadly, we sold the house, and in our new flat there isn't any space to grow mint.

I miss liptons ice tea & my nana's cooking before she was getting a bit senile.
