I miss the mcdonald's pizza that they used to have. It was a small, 4 slice pepperoni pizza...I'd like to taste one again...

Hmmm, I live in LA so I can pretty much get any sort of food I want. I do miss my grandma's flan though. I mean, I have the recipe, and I make it now and then, but it's just not the same. :(

When I was a kid (mid or late 90's) we used to get this powdered ice tea mix that was the best I've ever had, even better than making it from actual tea leaves (probably just nostalgia talking) and it came in a dark brown glass jar and I think it was made by Nestea but we haven't been able to find it in like 10 years or more.
Also we used to get this black cherry ice cream from a drug store, Thrifty's, but they all got bought out by... one of the bigger ones (Rite Aid we think) and the ice cream isn't the same anymore.
Cherry Coke before they changed the formula.
Thankfully for home cooked meals/desserts one upside to being stuck living with my parents for the foreseeable future is that my mom makes home cooked meals whenever she's home. I'm talking chicken and dumplings, fried porkchops with golden mushroom soup as like a gravy, roast, ham, fried chicken and so on and it's all done from scratch, though like the golden mushroom soup is canned Cambell's soup but the gravy for the roast is done from scratch. And for dessert it ranges from homemade cookies made from scratch to peanut butter candy or Rice Krispy treats made with peanut butter instead of marshmallow cream and then topped with a mixture of milk chocolate and butterscotch melted together. One of these days I have to see if it's possible for me to make some of this stuff myself lol.

Normally I don't like to eat pizza too much, but Freschetta used to have a brick oven styled pizza that had 4 different types of cheeses and bacon on it.
Why did they stop making it?! D:

                        My Uncle's cooking.
Vodka styled sauce on fried pork chops /w rice.
Bittersweet hot cocoa thats surprisingly manly in flavor.
Home-styled paella with the thickest pieces of scallops, clams, and lobsters.
His mutha-fucking ROAST TURKEY to die for. And all he uses is salt and pepper and slow roasts it for 2 hours or more while marinating it every so often with its own drippings which doubles as the most natural turkey gravy you can ever have.
Yeah. I'm missing all those foods and the others I didn't mention yet!
