me- Hey, uh don't mean to alarm you, but whilst looking at one of your pictures, i noticed something you may want to check out/ remove.. *points at nip slip* I don't want to seem creepy or anything.. just trying to be helpful. :)

depending on your relationship and how they see you. its not to hard to tell it off as a joke
like for me im seen as an idiot and a pervert. so telling them wont be as hard. then it go to how old the picture is.
if its like a month old not its not that bad to tell them, but if it was a year old you have to pull it off as joke and overreact saying 'you had that up for a year and you didnt notice whats wrong with you?!' then you'll have to improvise depending on how they'll react and how bad the nipple slip was

[size=12]this sounds best to me, man. i know i'd be grateful if one of my dude friends pointed it out to me - as long as it's for my own sake and not because he's trying to look at my boobs. i'd be embarrassed, sure, but it'd be more embarrassing if others started noticing and it became a topic of conversation when i'm not around. ;n;

If you know any of her other female friends, maybe you can tell them about the photo so they can pass the information on without embarrassment. Just tell your friend's friend you'd spotted the photo by accident and were too embarrassed to tell her directly. That way she won't think you were just being creepy or secretive about it.

Casually say it? That way you wont slip into this friend zone!

But it's hard to come up with a way to say it since nobody is very active on multiply anymore. :|

If you can ever get her to view the same computer screen as you, try to find some reason to check out her page, go through some pictures, making fun of them or something normal friends would do, and when you get to this one, act like you just spotted it.

Not saying that's the best approach, but one you may want to consider.

Actually I've had such an experience. There's a photo of me somewhere showing me drunk at a friends 18th with one of my girlfriends (just friends), and the birthday boy. I hadn't realised that my tank top/singlet thing was falling down, and no thought to tell me, so there I was showing most of my bra and some nipslip to the world. My best friend (A girl) later found the picture posted on the net, tagged me in it to show me how bad it was, and reported it to be removed at my discretion. I was glad she told me. I was so embarrassed by the picture, and the guy that posted the photo got a mouthful from me about it later (He apologised and said that it was just all in good fun).

For future reference:
Just keep it casual, but not so "hey you need a bit of nip-tuck there darl"
More like private message her and say "just thought I'd let you know that you're showing a bit of _?_ in your _?_ photo"
Just make sure she doesn't take it the wrong way and that your just trying to look out for her and be a good mate :)
