Yeah so basically A got together with another guy, and I never talk to A anymore. I talk to B most of the time online, which is good enough for me. I still got some lingering feelings but I could deal with that. I would have no problem the next time I see them both (if I have the chance to see A). Not that I particularly want to see A, it'd be best if I don't see her ever again though.

I agree with this, though if you naturally start to see B as more than a friend without forcing it, then you shouldn't try to avoid that. But don't specifically work toward seeing her as a relationship interest, because that will surely blow up in your face
