I personally use Nexus[size=10]2[/h], Vanguard, and z3ta
I mostly use Nexus though because it has such a large library, especially if you get the expansion packs xD

By the way, there is an open source alternative to Fruity Loops. It's called LMMS and pretty usable. Maybe you should give it an try. http://lmms.sourceforge.net/

I mainly use FL to change the midi version sounds from my favorite song, because I think the instruments were crappy-sounding on the midi. Edited it with FL to make it sound better.

I do that occasionally. I mostly do that to help me when I'm trying to make a remix. I don't use the entire midi of course >__<

Sometimes I add some of my own style to the midi and do a little improv on the notes =]Never tried that. I just remixed them just too add more fun when listening to them

Well, I mainly uses the grand piano from the Sytrus generators as a change for the generic keyboards. Mainly just playing with it for a change if I got bored by guitars and harmonica

I noticed that the sample musics from the FL sounds far better than the actual recordings from the musics I usually heard. Is it just me?
I just try playing Surrealism - 4one and Hanging on- Blake Reary when I first noticed it.
