Future advancements and technology

Brain improvements. Chips for memory, Accel World/minority report/ w\e style interfaces, translators helpers(no need for full translation, a bit of help is enough).
General medicine developments. You know, aids cure, cancer cure, epilepsy cure, cramps cure...
Sex change machine/pill.
That the next/current gen of consoles bring great things. Besides kool graphics.
That my country gets less corrupt. And that they reduce the taxes and bureaucracy. And that they stop making ridiculous changes(like reducing the gain-range for classes. So now on govern ads we have double people on upper class, less poor. RLY?!) to the system, to hide the problems.

Space travel and teleportation devices.Umm... Teleportation isn't all that great, unless you mean for objects, seeing as it involves deconstructing (killing a living thing) and reconstructing them. The person would, be composed of the same material but be a copy of.
I really mean teleportation for humans there, well for anything actually. But now you got me thinking, what about some kind gateway that allow anything to transfer instantly from one point to another, will it be feasible? Or is it just impossible?
It's possible, in theory, to fold space over (like a piece of paper) and punch a hole between the destinations. But that requires a tremendous amount of energy. I can't remember my source for this tho...
There's also another one, where you shrink the space in-front of you and expand the space behind you, in theory, you can travel faster than the speed of light... requiring a huge amount of negative energy... video explains.

That's an interesting theory there however I doubt I will be able to see such technological achievements. I'm already 30 and 2100 A.D seems so far away.

We double life expectancy in the last century... With the coming Singularity, A.I. advancing A.I., life expectancy may grow even faster.
Even if we die, the possibility of a GitS future is not that far off, give or take 30-40 years. You may have a chance to float around as a cyber ghost, or at least a copy of you.

Well as long as I get to see some technological prowess from the future generations, any ideas are welcome. If I'm be able to see these gateways in action or whether we have managed to travel beyond our solar system or if we have discovered new life form. Maybe even new metals and material from distant planets, that would be great even if I am only an A.I.
