Hmm. Interesting subject.
I think the definition of "unattractive" is the problem here. At least, I've seen my fair share of fugly chicks in h-manga, but that is due to excessive fetishism mainly, like over-the-top futa, muscular girls or "BBW" (aka fat women, not chubby, more like REALLY fat).
Also, guro kind of applies here. Cuz I think mutilated and dead girls are only attractive to fetishists, so...

You're totally right, attractiveness is really subjective, but I honestly have not seen a BBW. Have any examples? I have seen overly muscular chicks (yuck) but I didn't find them unattractive, they just weren't aligned with my preferences, per se.

Been to a lot of interesting book club and writers' meetings just to check out the scene, but it's totally different from the Bay Area. I don't want to say it's better or worse, it's just different. I like quiet, too - especially quiet which is just a few miles away from a hell of a lot of noise, haha. Inland empire's the bomb. Neat, beautiful, quiet.

And yes, yes it is. I love it here, despite being miles away from the "night life". We have a casino or two. That's about it. And I think a club somewhere. Not that I'm complaining, I can barely afford to go most places anyways. But still, it's nice.
I live in the Temecula area. I'm about 15 mins from one of our bigger casinos. As much as I'd like to go, I see little to no point, except maybe the clubs, but eh...
