I'm probably going to just keep the ipod I got. But before I start shelling out money for this, am I right when I say its a battery issue?Does the battery bar display a lightning bolt when plugged in? Are you using a power adapter or a USB cable to charge your iPod?
Nope it shows a plug. Btw when I unplug it turns off. Hmm that was strange. When I unplugged it, it left an image when it turned off. The main screen. When its plugged in and I start switching to other menus it turns off sometimes.
That pretty much narrows it down to two things, either the iPod is having problems charging the battery, or the battery is dead. It's safe to assume that the battery is dead.
There's a high chance you will break your iPod if you just try and take it apart yourself without doing a bit of research first, find a tutorial on how to replace the battery in your iPod tailored for your iPod's generation.
Yea I found a guide thanks to kurumi right here
