I guess I will try it, although I do like my customized Firefox2 and 3 that I am using now. :)
I didn't see a download link, so I figured I would link it here: http://www.google.com/chrome : although, it should have been easy enough to find.

I tried it for 30 seconds and uninstalled it. It's too basic and has no adblock (instant failure). It also popped up IE when I uninstalled it which aggravated me a lot. Google lost points for that.

I just tried it and I don't like it that much. I got several spam pop-ups almost as soon as I used it. >_<
When you un-install it, it brings this web page up in IE: http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/request.py?hl=en&contact_type=uninstall&crversion=0.2.149.27&os=5.1.2600

I guess it depends on the person's computer. I received no pop-ups at all.
And yeah, it is basic. But sometimes I prefer simple things over complex things.

Currently giving a go as I type. It'll be interesting to see how big a community it gains, especially for plugin support. Firefox is great since there's basically a plugin for anything you'd ever want. If Chrome gets the same kind of attention it'd go a long way toward convincing me to switch over.

Firefox user for life. I can't leave my Lord Mozilla that easy.
I might give it a try for a while thought.

I love how it uses it's V8 program to compile javascript into binaries so they run faster than flash programs.
Ah, waited for that. Though the Javascript "Developer" has strengths but it's not very easy to edit files and deal with it as it doesn't easily reload pages.
The fact that it dumps every plugin and page as a new process allows me to do a lot of memory management when something's a little too heavy to run alongside a 20+ tab situation.
As for ad protection, it seems to be working fine for me. Though since it runs IE-functioning javascript Pop-ups that don't work in FF because they don't use the DOM system is expected but popups can only come up in the same tab as the page it's on so closing the page kills any script that was started in it killing the pop up pages with it. I thought that was cool.
Downloads and "save as..." seem to cause a little of a wait for me on a few sites though.
And the "light" interface allows me to not deal with the browser as much and just the webpage.

I too, uninstalled it after using it for a few seconds.
Chrome is similar to FF without any add-ons.

As animeholic1 said, "Firefox Forever!"
It seems a little too basic for me. Justlike how you dont fix a thing when it aint broken, ill not leave firefox since its working so perfectly for me.

I am simply too lazy to switch from my main browser of Opera to that of Chrome. At the same time, I already have my hands full while using Internet Explorer for my direct downloads.
According to some articles I have read, Google funds Firefox. If that is true, Google could possibly reduce some competition by cutting back on its funding, though the popularity of Firefox could leave its market share unchanged.
