Have you ever been in a long distance relationship?

I was in a long distance relationship for almost an year and a half. We could meet just once in a month or two, there were good times and bad ones too, in the end we realised it won't work (we both love Fakku)

All my friends who have long distance relationships are working out great. I never had one though.

To tell the truth my GF is half Thai. Her father took her back to Thailand for studies... After two months we made an agreement: If none of us end in other relationship until she comes back here (but that's several god damn YEARS) then we get back together.
So far (nother few months) I think I can keep that promise

I was in a long-distance relationship for a long time. We only got to see each other for a couple months a year, and that was only after the year and a half of having to hide the relationship from her parents. It was very hard on both of us, but we persisted for a very long time...five years.

Only to have her eventually just end it. I don't really blame her - it was just becoming way too difficult. It started to feel like we didn't even know each other anymore, because over those five years, we grew from kids into adults, far away from each other...eventually it was like we didn't even really know each other anymore.

I am actually getting married to the girl I had a long distance relationship with ^_^ so I guess my long distance relationship turned out fine.


Thought I would also mention, she both knows and is absolutely cool with Fakku! She knows I love the people here :P

I've tried it a couple of times now. Once with a Canadian I met on Gaiaonline...we lasted about a month. And then last February with a fellow Fakker who lives in England. That one lasted about the same amount of time.
I just need the physical contact in a relationship.

Pretty much this, but I've been with her for almost 2 years now. Next year, we're planning to move together. Gonna be awesome, no need for these 2-3 week breaks then.
