Ive never been in a long distance relationship. I wouldnt want it anyways because it would hurt me not to be able to see the person i love everyday. Im more of the person who wants to hug and talk with the girl. I must read alot of Fakku because im scared the long distance relationship might end up as an NTR

Yes. LDR's work so long as they progress to living together within a year or two. If there's hesitation, it'll just lead to unnecessary frustration and anxiety. Casual visits will work at first, but leave you kind of lonely.

Hm...I've had 3 by-my-side girlfriends and 4 long distance relationships and how did they end? Me picking up broken pieces of my heart from the floor while the girls go on with their daily lives.

My ex was a cheating whore. She cheated on me while I was at bootcamp. When I got out I checked her Facebook to see if all was well. Found out she was with her ex.... Her ex is a female. So I was dating a lesbian.... Yippee.

Went on a bro-adtrip with mates and their girlfriends, being the only single guy there I occasionally went out for a walk at night when they started being louder than they intended.

Across the road, a few girls were chattin' away and I walked up and chatted away too.

Blahblahblah, I got a few of their numbers, called one up a few times over the next few months blahblah sexy phone/email/msn/skype times blahblahblah later, we decided the distance was a bit much and called it off.

Wow. The world sucks. This just deepens my belief of how I shouldn't even start relationships, but I think that I shouldn't flush it all down the drain. Not everyone is the same. We can't just lop every single person into the same category. LDRs are different for everybody because everyone has different experiences with different people. I guess thy don't work 95% of the time. I've been in two LDRs and they didn't work out well. There needs to be contact, but it seems like everybody is busy nowadays. I'm trying to figure out myself right now, as well as enjoy being single. :3

I've been in distance relationships and "ordinary" relationships, hell I've even lived with a few girls I've dated. It hasn't worked out yet, but I'll just keep trying. Being in a relationship is pretty great though and I highly recommend it, even if you lose out you gain something each time.
