Have you ever been stuck in an airport before?

Once, I had to spend the night in the city I was stopping to take another plane.. Sucks..

I have to say that I have been on 1 plane but loved every moment of it the moment I got on that plane and I was considering being a piliot but my eye sight is so bad

Spent about maybe 3 hours waiting for my plan to Portugal about 12 years ago. It was ok; I had gameboy color to keep me occupied.

I've never been stuck at the airport, I guess i'm lucky.

Dont feel alone jacob, we have all been there. When i was 10 me and a group of kids won a trip 2 Disneyland Florida (live in england) the flight was delayed by 8 hours. I was such a bad kid back then that me and ma mate made our carer at the time have a mental breakdown! Dunno how like, but damn that was a holiday i will never forget. (Don't think that the guy will ever forget me either) :P

I waited for about 9 hours on a flight last year, luckily I had my laptop with me so I just plugged it into an outlet and raged on Battlefield 2 (there happened to be a hotspot where I was, so I lucked out).

I've never experienced delays on the airports before and hopefully it will stay that way. Its costly to just hang around those airport stores to pass the time, although sitting at the waiting area without doing anything except look at the runway would most likely bore me to death.

reason we got delayed was a bird flew in the engine on the first part of the flight so it made us miss are second part so we had to wait for 4 hours ,but there was a guy with us going the other way who had to wait 8 hours.

As a frequent flyer, yes, this has happened to me but only once. I was stuck for two days straight before they found me seat, in the first class section.

I was in Chicago when my flight was delayed too. All because of the cursed snow!!!

10 hours in Minneapolis. At least I knew about the first 9 hours in advance so I could plan ahead. Luckily it was only 5 hours on the way home. And then we got diverted to another city since the runway was icy at home and spent 3 hours there. Luckily they got the runway cleared so we didn't have to spend the night in the airport.

I was stuck in a the airport to Charlotte for 3 hours during which I could have easily driven there.

I haven't flown befor, so i have know idea what it's like being stuck in one and with that said, Jacob i hope you get a flight home soon.

My record so far in life was 29 hours stuck in an airport, but it wasnt all that bad. Some of the restaurants gave us discounts on food (free for kids, 50% off for us less fortunate adults), and the airport staff came by with blankets and pillows so we would atleast have a bit of comfort overnight. It wasn't fun by any means, but we kept ourselves entertained with conversation and several packs of playing cards. One guy was even teaching people Dutch (kinda wish I had gotten in on that, I was too young to appreciate what he was offering at the time).
