How do you cope with sunburns?

I roasted out in the sun for a good four or so hours today. I somewhat resemble a mutated dying cherry (Not as colorful). I'm toughing it out right now. Someone offered me some After Sun spray which I put on in copious amounts but thats about it. What do you do to cope with sunburns?

Just take a freezing cold shower, and stand in it for about 20 minutes. I should then go away after, if not repeat till it does. This worked for me when I got my arm roasted from the sun.

I've never had a single sunburn in my life.
Got just enough Native American in me (Like some 30% or something) That I just tan. I don't think I can burn at all, and I've been outside for long periods of time to prove it.

Never go outside again, sunlight and human interaction are overrated. Find an indoor activity to get addicted to and only leave your home for work and beer runs.
