How do you cope with sunburns?

When I get a sunburn, I use any thing that helps with mosturizing the skin and then I sit with a fan blowing on the burned area. With cold showers interspersed with Pain Killers if needed.

If I'm going to go to an activity that has a chance of getting myself sunburned, I always pack some moisturizers to keep it, you know, not that badly burned.

My grandma always advised us that tea works wonders with sunburn and the sting it brings when it starts to hurt. I tried it and it somehow works. Steep some tea bags in a few cups of hot water, then chill it - chilled to the point it starts forming little ice crystals. Then get a small towel, dip in the tea, and start dabbing it to the sunburned area.

Also, if tea isn't available you can head to the nearest pharmaceutical store and buy aloe vera gel.

I never go outside long enough to get a sunburn and when I do go outside I'm always wearing a long sleeve shirt.

Guessing how most sunburns are on shoulders, arms, face, back, and more rarely belly, how do you pee on those body parts?

oh man sunburns...lol I got one real bad on my arm...I fell asleeo for 3 hours on the waay downtown with my arm hanging out he window in my buddies car...all I can say is use some aloe

As a trap[Female-y] and a muslim; I must constantly wear a burka[Ninja dress/gown]. If my skin is hit by sunlight, I must suicide/blow a building up. YOU KNOW; NORMAL STUFF.

Aloe vera gel. <3 It's wonderfully cooling and relieves pain if you're having any, and over the course of a day or two it should at least reduce the burns. It feels so great when you put it on!
