How do you end a online relationship with a cutter/stalker?

Yea im serious, I already ended the relationship bur im woundering if i could have gone about it differently. I told her she looked like a relative of mines so I just wanted to be friends, she hasnt talked to me since. Im happy but I feel kind of bad. She was crazy and also sensitive and she said she was prone to cutting herself... Should i have gone about it differently?

Never met her in person it was online. I also texted her so she has my number. I feel Im going to live to regret this... well maybe not live DX

But to answer the question, there is no easy way with cutters. I have known a few (thankfully never dated one tho) and when they break up it is usually messy (in more ways than one)

she was also a lil bit crazy, she said i lead her on -w- i didnt take the relationship seriously but i guess thats my fault.

You said you just wanted to be friends, so if you are worried try talking to her again about some random crap that can't be mistaken for BF GF stuff(something about work, govt., etc.). if she brings the BF GF stuff up, very gently say you never meant to give the wrong idea about the nature of the relationship.

Sometimes, there is no "easy way". Sometimes you have to tell them flat out, "No more." Sometimes you have to break it too them gently, giving the same message.

In this case, you gave your reason, and tried to break it to her gently, telling her you wanted to be friends. Seeing as she is a cutter, that ain't always bad, but at the same time can come back to haunt you. Not to say there's another choice, but that's just how it goes. Just be ready to explain again why you broke up, and where you stand. She'll be coming back to ask, should she or you make contact again.

The only other thing is, you could have just told her your really busy lately, and basically stop talking to her. :\

I know how you feel. I was with this girl who I thought was fine. Then she said she was having anger management classes. That brought up red flags for me. Also she says she knows how to kill people in a way that the FBI can't find out. So yea I started to not call anymore nor text her.

try to make the other person think it's their idea to break it off. start being an asshole, come with some horribly racist crap, or super religious(or anti religeous) stuff to try and put them off.

I try not to get into texting with online women. If they become adamant. I buy a tracfone so there is no direct connection to me but so far I had one online romance and it faded for both of us.

LOL! I think the way you told her was brutal/sad, but it was also kind of funny.

It's really a coin toss because sometimes sitting down and talking to someone who is self-destructive can give them an outside perspective about how they make other people with their self-loathing, but honestly, for a majority, it doesn't work. They'll just try to guilt trip you into coming back or try to emotionally scar you before you leave. There really isn't any good way of breaking up, but honesty, in most cases, is the best policy.

well... i dont take others feeling seriously and my whole life people try to put me through a guild try which made me not care anymore XD

Well, it's good that you don't let people guilt trip you. I am a master of guilt-tripping, so guilt-tripping doesn't work on me. It's my secret weapon, haha.
